"Man luckily we got in time before the promos expired." A caped bald man holding some groceries said happily while walking comically to the abandoned street.
"By the way Genos, you've been staring at your phone for an hour now. What are you looking at?"
"Nothing Sensei, I'm just searching for some information about the restricted area of the city." The ikemen cyborg called Genos replied.
"Hmm..."
"And Sensei, some heroes reported that there's an unusual movement happening near the northern outskirt of the city."
"Hmm, maybe we can check it out later." The caped bald man said and noticed something in the sky.
"Huh, Is that a meteor shower?"
Suddenly the sky brighten like the sun is approaching, the ikemen cyborg looked at the sky to see more than 100 bright meteorites seems like heading to...
"Sensei, it's heading towards us!" The cyborg shouted.
"Oh..." The caped bald man stared at meteorites with a bland look on his face.
Dozens of dozens of meteorites landed one after another in the seemingly restricted area, as some impact tremors reach them shattering the glass all around the City.

Have you ever seen a shooting star?

I'm sure many people have. Maybe you've been captivated by their fleeting beauty or made a wish on one as it fell through the night sky.

But have you ever watched a meteorite rip through the heavens toward the surface? Have you seen it tear the sky to pieces with a thunderous roar, crashing into the ground with a terrifying impact?

Maybe some of you have seen something like it on TV or the Internet somewhere. But even then, I'm sure nobody ever thought they wanted to see a meteor shower up close, hurtling down all around them.

And yet, at this very moment, I'm watching more than a hundred falling rocks pour down right before my eyes, one after the other.

No! I shouldn't say it so passively, as if it's someone else's problem.

Because I'm the one responsible for this disaster in the first place.

Because of a choice I thoughtlessly made just a moment ago, a meteor shower is pouring out from the sky and hitting the ground.

The meteorites make landfall everywhere, from a few hundred meters away from me to the enormous amount of abandoned buildings and the seeming outskirt of this abandoned city in the distance, crushing all the enemies within that large radius.

The dots on the map in the corner of my field of vision disappear like a bothersome stain being washed away.

I can't see it from here, but most likely, countless lives are being snuffed out at each meteorite's point of impact.

And shortly after each one disappears into the earth, I hear the sound of the impact and feel a tremor under my feet. And then, the building I was standing in collapsed, just as a massive tidal wave of debris is about to bury me alive. Suddenly, a searing pain hits me like the wrath of God. It's as if my skull is breaking open and my body is splitting apart.

"Seems like the Meteor Shower only destroy half of the city, since most of the meteorites landed on the outskirt of the city." A caped bald man sigh of relief that his apartment is not destroyed.
"Yes Sensei, luckily the impact of the meteorite only shattered the glasses on the other side of the city, and no civilian resident of the city was hurt." The blonde ikemen cyborg beside the caped bald man replied.
"Man the weather forecast sure is unreliable."
"Sensei weather forecast is nothing like that." The cyborg disciple corrected. (A/N: Is the weather forecast tells about meteors too?)
The two explore the destroyed area looking for someone injured to help them.

The pain I felt right before that dust cloud overtook me seemed to have knocked me out for about two hours. I figured out that the dust had probably been a consequence of all those meteorites hitting the earth.
The menu displayed the time in a simple format in the corner of my vision. How convenient, It seems like there is a paralyzed-like icon from pokemon games beside my full bar HP.
I looked at the map and scan to see if they were still hostile or enemy around, the scan finished and I see two blue dots near me and no other more.
I sigh in relief as I strained to move my body, which was half-buried in dirt and some rubble on top of me completely burying me from the surface.
Huh? I can't get up, It seems like I'm paralyzed.
It felt sort of like when you can't get out of bed on a winter morning. I could move my hands a little, but it was difficult to do much more than sluggishly wiggle my fingers.
"Huh? There's someone here?" I heard someone speak as I saw him on the map approaching where I was buried.
"Be careful Sensei, It might be a monster!" I heard another guy shout.
"Then get back for a moment Genos, If it was a monster I can take care of it." The man replied confidently.
I think I might be able to recognize them since there's only one Master & Disciple who called each other like that and especially here at City Z.
The man who I suspected to be, removed the rubble on top of me as I got to see his appearance. The sunlight reflects on the head of an ordinary-looking bald man with a thin but well-built physique.
He wore a yellow one-piece jumpsuit with a short zipper at the collar and a black belt with a round golden buckle at its center. He wears red gloves that go 3/4 up his forearms and red boots that nearly reach his knees. He also has a white cape, fastened to his shoulders with big, round buttons.
"Oh, it's a person. Oi Genos come here it's a person!" The bald man turn around and shouted. I stare at him for a second as I recognize him without the AR screen appearing beside his shiny head.

What's with this uncomprehensive stat!?
...
A/N: Is there an uncomprehensive word? Btw, since OPM Earth is all cities I planned to estimate the size of cities. City Z's size should be about 30 square Kilometers or a Radius of 15 Kilometers, anyone can correct me too if someone was reading this fanfic :) Half of the city will be Ghost Town or Restricted Area- and the Other half is where civilian lives :)
