I was drinking while listening to the song that Mirna was singing and I know as I could tell that she's upset about not drinking her offered blood. I actually don't hate the idea of drinking from her, it was just that I just can't not now until it's time for me to do it when we're making love. Offered blood was indeed delicious but when the blood came from making love, it's more addictive and lovely. Well, I am not sure but that's what I heard from my parents.
Anyway, I snapped from my thought while watching my beloved mate played the piano when she suddenly stopped. She indeed stopped as if she was suddenly being frozen onto her spot which made me worried. I was about to approach her with my worried pace when I heard some sniffling sound that's coming from her. Just by hearing that something pierced my heart and made me sad. I went cautiously close to her even though I don't even know what to say to her but I still did. As I got close to the remaining gap in between us, I just can't form any word except a song.
"Something I didn't say
Something I didn't say…" I started singing the song that suddenly popped into my mind which was entitled Was Something I didn't Say by 98 Degrees.
"Spending another night alone

'Til it was too late, you walked away…" I sadly smiled at Mirna when she turned to meet my gaze. Well, she might know what are my reason for not taking her blood but I still have to assure her that it's not about not wanting or needing it. Yet, I still hurt her in the process.

Was it something I didn't say…" I continued since I wanted to make sure that if I ever slipped something since I am not sure if I ever did but I'd rather say them over and over again. I want her to hear them again.

'Til it was too late, you walked away…" I watched Mirna teared up more as I let the feelings of worrying that I might lose her for something I am not sure if I did or didn't do or those words I said or have not said. I want to hold this moment before she slipped away for good and my heart might never going to recover from that kind of loss.
I was about to repeat the chorus of the song when I felt Mirna's hand took mine and squeezed it before pulling me down to sit beside her at the piano's chair. There were no words were spoken to each other but the feeling was there and I know there was something that she needs to hear which I hope through this lyric would reach hers.

But I never let you hear me, was it something." I poured my feelings through the lines of the lyrics which led the tears from my eyes to show up and Mirna reached out her hand to cup my right cheek. I leaned to it savoring the feeling revolving at this very moment.
"You already said everything you need to say to me, El. It's just I am not sure if you regret being with me or you're just taking so much time to savor the moment you could have whenever we're together. Sorry for making you worry." Mirna told me what was bothering her when I saw her sudden sadness her.
"No, it's okay. I just can't drink your blood since I'm afraid that I'll end up killing you because I am starving. That's why I'd rather make love to you than feeling the need to full myself. I don't trust myself from drinking your blood since it's my drug. It's either good or bad for me and I couldn't take it away from my life. Not anymore." I answered with a slight smile over my lips and the next thing was, I was engulfed with her tight hug which made us ended up lying on the ground.
"Oh, did you gain weight?" I don't know what came into me when I suddenly teased her weight since she was lying above me when we suddenly fell off from the piano's chair.
"YOU!" Mirna sat at my waist before she suddenly slapped my left cheek which took me off guard. I'm a bit irritated at what she did but I can't help but tease her more.
"Me?" I playfully guessed in my innocent smile that I could muster.
"Asshole." She rolled her eyes as she tried to stand up from taking some comfortable sit over my waist.
"Love it though." I teased which earned me another hit but this time it was over my shoulder and it was lighter than the slap.
"Whatever." She just ignored my teases which made me smirked and thought of something naughty.
She gasped when I suddenly caught her wrist and pinned them onto either side of the ground where we took some liberty to sit on the ground. I am finally sitting while she was being pinned in her place but this time she's straddling on my lap while our bodies were just an inch apart.
"ELRISHA!" Mirna tried her best to get off my lap but I won't let her.
"Much like it." I commented which made her stop moving on top of me. She was confused for a moment when I said that until it registered to her mind what we exactly looked like from another perspective.
"Pervert." She quickly blushed as she leaned her forehead to hide her tomato face at the crook of my neck. I can't help but laugh at it yet, I pulled her closer to my body while we're sitting and facing each other.
I just hold her and feel the warmness coming from her which she returned as well. I am smiling but the next thing I heard was another gasped followed by trying to get away from my embrace.
"What's wrong?" I wondered while there's visible pain written over my face since I never felt that kind of resistance from her.
"W-wings." She stuttered which made me looked over my back that I jumped as well since the last time I saw my wings was earlier when I'm saving her.
"What are they? They're not ordinary bat wings." Mirna commented over my wings which I sort of took offended when she thought it's bat wings.
"Seriously, bat wings?" I arched my eyebrow as I let my offended mode showed up on my face.
"Well, you're a vampire so, I expect if you're having wings it should be vampire bat wings and not four dragon wings." She cleared which made more sense till I recalled what I didn't mention to her before.
"Oh. Right, I forgot to mention to you about that but can I ask you something before I tell you about it?" I tried my luck and asked her about something.
"Okay…" she cautiously answered me while she was sitting partially underneath by the piano.
"Want to take a flight with me?" I sincerely and carefully asked her for a stroll in the night sky.
"You mean…" she wanted to make sure but she didn't manage to finish her words instead, she just pointed to the night sky which made me smile.
"Yeah, let's have a date in the night sky." I answered with a genuine smile that was plastered over my lips while I was kneeling and my dragon wings were still visible behind my back.
"Don't let me fall." She hesitated a little bit as she stretched out her left hand to me.
"I'll catch you if you do." I winked at her that she automatically blushed.
"I'm serious!" she pouted that made me pulled her closer to me as soon as caught her quivering hand.
"So am I. just trust me." I kissed her forehead for reassurance after I said that to her.
"I do." She quickly countered which made me smile even more. Dammit, I hope it won't be stuck over my face.
"Let's go then." I said as I carried her like a bride, my soon-to-be bride, and let my dragon wings be spread out then we took off.
At first, it was hard for Mirna to look where we going up in the sky because of one flipped of the four dragon wings, it was like a flash of lightning. But as soon the flight became smooth and letting the clouds around us touched her, she began to open her eyes.

On a magic carpet ride…" out of the blue and getting lost to the amusement reflecting into Mirna's orbs made me sing the A Whole New World from the Disney soundtrack of Aladdin.
"Well, it's not a magic carpet." Mirna chuckled which was true. Its dragon wings of a vampire duchess that she'll learn soon.

Or say we're only dreaming…" I continued as we kept flying at the night sky and letting the light from the ground be a constellation from the view above the sky.

That now I'm in a whole new world with you…" she sang with me while her eyes were totally having fun over the view that I could bet she never got a chance to do so.
"Now I'm in a whole new world with you…" I sang in her background as I made some 360-degree move that made her yelp followed by a hit over my chest. I just chuckled at her gesture since it was cute.
"Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feeling
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky…" she continued singing the second stanza as I intentionally drop her but caught her waist that automatically she pretends that she was flying like Peter Pan.

Let me share this whole new world with you…" we both sang together as we kept strolling at night while flying and letting her feel that she does.
I even guide her to let her feet touched the cold water from the stream that came from the mountain then pulled her closer to me once again before dancing on the top of the lake. She was laughing like an innocent kid since she was enjoying the night flying with me.

For you and me." We ended the song with a smooth flight around the clouds with the crescent moon and night sky as our background then we headed back to the house.
