Went over Maria's office for lunch and yes I knew it she's still working like no tomorrow. "Maria take a break after all its lunch and obviously you need to eat." "Fine I'll eat something, but I'm still going to work." Well I guess that's better then not eating. O'Haren, our boss came in to remind us that tomorrow is everyone's day off... the only reason he's giving us a day off is because of personal reason, that's what he said. "Maria lets go out tomorrow, a girl's day." "I'm going to take some of this home to work on.. sorry I won't have time." "Your not going too work and I'm going make sure of that.. you need down time, do what you want to, and have little fun in your life and such." Questioning look appeared on Maria's face as Hillary got up and went out of Maria's office. Hillary and Mr. O'Haren came into Maria's office, Mr. O'Haren spoke.. "Maria I understand your dedicated and such. You're doing great, but as I heard from your co-worker and friend shes worried about you and not even sure when you sleep. So I'm letting you off early, and you're going to relax or what ever you do. To be sure your not going to work.. You're leaving now with only your coat and purse, were locking this door so no one can open it to email you any related work. I'll see you likely in two days." Maria grabbed her coat and purse as instructed, and Mr. O'Haren locked the door himself.
Maria wasn't exactly sure what to do entertaining, so she went home and looked for work related paper... nothing, everything is at work. Boredom crept through as she puzzled what to do, well Maria was tired a little so she headed to bed to take a nap. A nap is likely two hours, but for her that nap lasted for hours until she heard the doorbell ring. Hillary came in... See what she was doing and making sure she wasn't mad at her. "Maria were you sleeping?" Nodded and yawn, "hello Hillary." "I came over to see you.. see if you were mad at me and what you were up too." "Oh. I'm not mad, not as much as earlier. And obviously I was sleeping." "Well I'm glad your not mad and you were sleeping then fussing with work... Besides my visit I also came too ask if we have a day out tomorrow... I have it all plan." Big pleading eyes Hillary had like a little seven year old does when they really want something. "Fine." With that said Hillary clapped and jump up and down, just like a seven year old when they get what they want. Even so you saw Hillary with a big ol' smile, she left across to the hall to her apartment and got her pajamas and took a warm shower. Maria and Hillary is co-workers, friends, and neighbors. Both Hillary and Maria slept soundly.
