"Don't you fricking have the latest editions? I've already read this things"
Tim showed him the two books he's holding in each of his hands as he stand by the bookshelf.
"It's easy to go look for another book in the shelf duh" Darren answered sarcastically. He applauded himself for being able to recover that easily and quickly from what had happened yesterday and slightly grateful that Tim's not pressing him for the details.
"I've read all these freaking shit already and they're not that fucking great. Don't you perhaps have the Lionel King books? He's goddamn head fuck in writing"
Darren's mind short-circuited for the amount of curses Tim had in his statements. For a hot man, he curses like a thousand year old sailor and the constant use of the word 'fuck' had gradually deafening Darren.
Darren puffed in indignation and raised an eyebrow at him judgmentally. "Seriously, what is with you and cursing?!"
Tim chuckled and shrugged as he raised his head from staring at the book to look at him with that carefree grin plastered in his face.
"What is fucking fuck shit with you and nagging?" he questions back and if only Darren had the strength of a real real man, he'd toppled him over to the floor and knocked him out.
Like a great WWE wrestler.
Too bad, he's bent as a flexible gymnast.
"Shut up you imbecile!" Tim laughed amusedly at Darren's mean calling.
He closed the book in his hands and focused on him fully. "Let's have a deal" he started off and Darren got no good feelings for this one.
No, no. He's got all those dreadful, terrifying, harmful, bad, fear inducing feelings for this and before Darren could even reject his proposition, Tim was already talking.
"Let me freaking fucking bullshitting fuck shit curse as I let you get away from nagging and calling me obscenities"
Darren fought an urge to call him a walking zombie, no brains and desperate to claw for one. The deal however sounded so good because that means he can be himself. A spoiled brat who can destroy one's eardrums and annoy them to hell.
He can call Tim anything he wants. Of course, given his constant drooling, he can call him love, babe, darling, sweetheart or even his daddy but idiot, fool, shameless git, or even mediocre is more exciting. No one has ever given him that much permission though he really doesn't care.
He can call whoever with anything he wants.
"So what'll it be Darren cutie?"
"That sounds - wait... what? Did you just call me Darren?" How did he know his name?
Oh my - the police! Of course he'll know it sooner than later.
"Nevermind. But the deal's fine"
Tim cheered with a smirk and a wink and a hell hot flying kiss. Really flirty. He accepted that already.
"Fuck hell yeah." Tim answered sounding glad.
Darren rolled his eyes for Tim's childlike reaction. He was about to throw a profanity when his doorbell rang. He blinked. He wasn't expecting anyone today or ever.
Tim was quick on his actions. He returned the books in the shelf. "Stay here and I'll check -
"No. You stay here. I was... e-expecting that" he lied.
Tim fell silent and studied him. Darren knew Tim knew he was lying but said nothing.
"Stay here and never go out" Darren said before leaving from inside the library as he made his way towards the entrance to see who it was who rang the doorbell again.
Darren opened the door and when he saw two very familiar faces, he so wanted to smash the door right in their faces.
"Hi" Lily said with a beaming smile with Lee nodding and waving at him.
"We've been calling you dude" Lee said as they stepped inside uninvited.
"What're you doing here?" Darren asked as they made their way to the living room, sitting on the couch comfortably.
But Darren was far from comfortable. He's agitated. His eyes keep darting around the corner where the path to the library is, keeping an eye if Tim decided to fool around again.
"What? What is it?" he asked in a rush. His mind, eyes, and basically all of him still focus on Tim.
Lily raise an eyebrow and stared at where his eyes keep on darting. "Is everything alright, Ren?"
Darren turned his head and nodded. Keeping his composure which seemed to be a good help seeing Lily's curious glance abated.
"In my house arrest, yes but your job, no" he put his sharp tongue back and Lee chuckled in amusement.
It's far from alright. Darren's mind thought. You have a man inside the house staying. How is that fine?
"That's why we're here" Lee butted in and gave him a wink. Tim's image winking at him played on his mind and he cursed himself for it. Why is Tim's face appearing?!
Oh yeah, just nervous they would catch him right? Right?! He tried to convince in his mind but he wasn't sure if it even listened.
"We didn't get to see him" There was a slight hesitance on Lily's voice. As if she doesn't want to tell him the truth and yet did.
Darren shook his head and sighed. "Then what? Suppose I'm gonna rehire Meyers? Over my gorgeous body"
Lily took a deeper sigh and raised an eyebrow at him. "I feel like I should slap some senses into you"
"Shut up Lils" Darren was quick to answer.
Lee coughed and waved his hand. "Stop bickering you guys. And Darren, we didn't get to see him but we learned what country he is in" Lee butted in once again.
Darren nodded, a little satisfied for their almost failed job in seeking someone who doesn't want to be disturbed. At least they got a teeny tiny bit of something.
"Good. Now, feed me some at least good news"
Lee laughed at him and shrugged. Lily relaxing on the couch and letting Lee tell him what they had gotten him.
"Here"
