Darren growled and stared outside by the window in the library. He's just looking around the vast grounds of their house and the sun and the trees, skies, and of all things he could see outside.
He's just missing being outside and having fun and going on bars and basically doing things one Darren Chu should be doing. And he has been thinking about the lawyer, he finally had the time to really take his last call with Lily in. Finally, the prospect of having no lawyer as soon as possible is slowly weighing down on him.
It's not everyday he's entertaining rationality in his mind and now that he's thinking about it, his demanding self is one of the things that's keeping him in looking for a lawyer. He should not just be waiting for Lily to look for that lawyer, he should also look for an alternative, a replacement.
But how? He doesn't know a lot of things and that's pushing him not to do anything other than to rely on Lily and Lee to hire him the best lawyer they could know because he knows he cannot just go on wild goose chase as he might end up barking at the wrong tree.
So truthfully and in reality, he's a spoiled brat gay who do nothing but scowl, demand, order, bitch around, sneer, judge, and all those annoying attitudes that could piss even the toughest whale on the sea.
"Hey, let's eat" heard Darren by the door and saw Tim leaning on the doorway with legs and arms crossed, wearing one of Darren's oversized sleeveless shirt that fitted him just right and provided Darren one hell of a view of those muscled arms and his shorts that seemed tight on his hips and gave Darren a chance to imagine. Again and over again.
He looked so hot with the raffled hair and lazy expression. He looks so relaxed and... calm. Unlike Darren with tensed shoulder and slightly perturbed expression and he envied it.
"I'm not hungry" he lied. Of course he's starving but he won't admit that because he's sulking. He's bloody sulking and he just wanted to be like that all night.
He heard Tim sigh. "I've been trying to call you for 30 minutes" he paused and looked around the office. "Alright, what fucked up?" he asked and Darren stared at him in confusion.
"Huh?"
"What fucked up?" he repeated and Darren's confusion only increased. What's what? Huh? Darren just blinked at him, not even trying to function Tim's eyes roaming at his spot.
"Don't fucking hide things from me. I can see you"
The statement ought to be frightening in its nature. It really should be but Darren felt the opposite. H-he's...hell, turned on?
"So what fucked up?" he asked again, lifting himself off the doorway as he took a step inside. His eyes never leaving his and Darren's breath hitched.
He bit his tongue because what? Tim's walking towards him? He looked so serious and so handsome and regal in spite of the simple clothes he's wearing, his aristocratic stand never leaving him even with the absence of his leather jacket.
"Cutie?" he called again and Darren shook his head and focusing on what's happening at the present.
And...bloody hell.
Bloody hell!
He nearly staggered backwards when he saw Tim closed to him! So bloody close he might just lean in his chest and run his tongue over those tattoos -
Now, this isn't relevant. Highly inappropriate! Stop it Darren! He scolded himself.
Tim really bring out this side of him and Darren is both amused and not amused by it especially when Darren can't do it to him. It's obvious that Tim isn't checking him out like he is. And that annoys Darren to no end because hello, he's gorgeous, beautiful, and sexy.
"W-what are you doing?! Get back!" he tried to sound pissed off but well, his body's just betrayed him by stammering! Why is he stammering and acting so flustered in front of a man? He isn't so easy like this!
He's not like - oh my god. Oh God! Shit.
Tim is a bad influence! He's dangerous! He's changing him!
"Breathe cutie. Relax. You're so fucking tense as fuck" Tim said calmly and held his shoulder and he stilled. His hands felt so strong and yet soft. And shit, so big compared to his own.
Tim's holding him! Tim is holding him! "Now, tell me, you're stressed, yeah?"
Tim's tone of voice is so serene and soothing and Darren found himself nodding, something he's not used to doing. He's not fond of being and looking so vulnerable in front of other people especially not to an annoying and flirty git Darren has in his house.
"Why?" Tim asked and Darren looked away. Afraid that if he stare at his eyes more, he'll blurt all things just then. And he cannot risk that.
"None of your business" Darren snarled and tried his hardest to roll his eyes and Tim just raised an eyebrow and nodded.
"You miss going outside, do you?" Darren bit his tongue, holding himself back not to lash out. "That's what fucked up" Tim added and nodded, as if he knew all things. He just concluded that he was right because Darren didn't answer.
"Cutie, why don't we go eat and you take a rest?" Tim said and waited for him to answer and after a while, he nodded but Tim didn't move.
He stood there and watched him. His observing eyes studying him and Darren felt slightly repelled. There's just something about Tim with serious and vigilant eyes that's making Darren feel small and inferior. Like it's putting him in his right place.
Darren fidgeted with his fingers a little bit. He's bothered all right and Tim seems to really have that ability to read Darren like the easiest and most open book to read, to understand, to know.
And it's off putting. With this side of Tim came a realization. He's scary, dangerous and powerful.
