Chapter 25 - The Danger In The Attic

"The attic?" Tim's forehead knotted in bewilderment.

Darren nodded and tilted his head upwards, looking at the stairs leading to the entrance to it. A while ago, it seemed that Darren wasn't the one functioning and now, Tim looks like the one buffering.

Does he need to provide him a definition of the attic?

"Yes, dumbass. The attic or in other words, the loft" he answered sarcastically.

"Hell no. Hell no." Tim shook his head and took one step backward.

Darren squinted his eyes and regarded him for a second, "You're the slave here. Are you going against the natural laws of our deal?"

"Fuck. Not the attic, queen. Not the attic" he rejected.

Darren looked at him sternly, "Clean the attic"

"Fuck no. Attics are fucking dangerous. They have poor ventilation and fine particulate dusts that affect breathing. There's no fucking way in hell I'm going there"

Darren gawked at him for a whole minute. What's what now? "Shut up your dumbassery. Pretty sure you got that from google search"

For a robust man, he seemed like a scared polar bear.

Oh hohohoh.

He gets it. "You're scared" he ridiculed.

That's weird. Timothee is a scared of attics? Really? Now, Darren wonders where and when he could use information to his advantage. The date? Wait a minute. . . Why is his mind always thinking about the date?

Is he whipped or something? Ah, no. He wouldn't like that. Of course he's not whipped. He's just anticipating whether Tim would keep his word or not. Yes, that's right.

He's jsut making sure Tim do what he says.

"Me? Scared? Why would I fucking be scared?"

Darren chuckled in mockery. He's scared alright.

"Clean the attic then"

Tim pouted and pleaded with his eyes, "No"

Darren huffed and walked towards Tim's back.

"Get in there!" he demanded and used all of his might to push him towards the stairs to the attic. Thankfully, he was able to move him.

Completely out of the topic, Darren liked the way his back muscles felt in his palm. Strong and healthy but such a scaredy cat.

"No! Don't! There's danger! There's danger!" Tim held on to the railings of the stairs and poured what he can in it. His face obvious of fright.

What danger? There's no danger in the attic. He really is an idiot. Is this the same man who comforted him a while ago? He cannot believe this man is way beyond his standard.

This idiot.

"There's danger that fucking lurks in there, queen! No! don't! Fuck shit!" he continued to protest but it only motivated Darren to push more. He wants to know what kind of danger is in Tim's mind.

"Get in there slave! I'm warning you" Darren said lowly.

Tim turned at him and pouted again, fluttering his eyes in a way that should convince him not to make him go in the attic but Darren is way past that. If this is the kind of man he gets, he should've dared him for something else.

"I'll take my shirt off cutie. I'll fucking take my shorts off too just don't let me go in there"

Hmm. That can be arranged. He kind of like the offer. But no. No! No Darren!

"Cutie, queen, darling, sweet, buttercup, blossoms, mojo jojo, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, please don't"

Darren rolled his eyes over his dramatics. Why the need to mention cartoon characters?

What does he needs to say to convince him? Hmm. Think Darren, think. Aha!

"You're very handsome"

Darren bit his tongue and waited for his reaction which was quick because Tim smiled immediately.

"My cutie. Thank fucking you for having eyes" he winked. "You're very cute too" he complimented back.

"So, go in there handsome"

Tim's smile was wide as he nodded and sighed. He started to walk on his accord and Darren followed suit. When Tim opened the door and reluctantly stepped inside, Darren stayed on the door way and watched him take a sharp breathe and stood there as if he had gone frozen.

The room was wide and spacious, random objects rested atop of tables and old furniture stacked around the corner. Spider webs on the roof and there was an obvious amount of dust. Dirty. Definitely dirty.

"Fuck. Nope. I'm out" Tim said and turned back to leave.

Darren stood straight in the doorway and scowled at him, "You are not leaving"

"Fuck! I am. I don't care cutie. I'm ugly. I'm ugly. I'm not handsome, now let me go" he tried to walk pass but he was quick not to let him go.

"What's the matter with you?" Darren asked confused and Tim frowned.

"Cutie! Let me go! I'm ugly fucking sure in any moment now the danger will appear" Tim said frantically and tried to get pass again.

"Tell me what's wrong first?" Darren said with a smile, teasing.

Tim stilled and blinked. "Oh shit."

"Oh shit. What a fucking view" he murmured. Darren wiped the smile off of his face quick and felt his face redden. This annoying git.

"Now, let me fucking go before I go buy you a goddamn lobster" Tim continued his ministrations to escape but Darren rolled his eyes sassily.

He felt like a giant towering the way for a man who's way taller than him. But a gorgeous gay is free to dream, right?

"Not until you clean this attic" Darren tilted his head and roamed his eyes around the area.

"What? Fuck no! I can clean your bedroom instead."

Tim flailed both his hands upward, "No! There's danger! Code red!" he added.

Time seemed to stop when something flew over to one of his palms. Tim paled and turned rock hard on his spot and slowly, turned his head to look. He gulped nervously and eyes turned glassy.

Darren watched the scene silently, thoughts swirling like a fast tidal of waves. He covered his ears when Tim screamed at the sight of a cockroach. Yes! A cockroach! He shouted like a bloody frantic thirteen year old girl who lost her phone.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"So, how's the coward idiot doing?"

Darren entered the dining room, teasing Tim who's holding an ice bag over to his head from having it hit the doorway when he literally flew away, screaming curses loudly.

Darren have never laughed so hard in his entire life when he discovered muscular Tim's hate for cockroaches. He'd never been so amused in his entire life at that.

Oh my god. Tim is afraid of cockroaches. Finally, Darren has something for an upper hand. Now, what shall he do with the information?

"Those are fucking flying cockroaches cutie! I bet even Superman is afraid of them!!" Tim pouted and sighed adorably.

"You're an idiot" he pointed out but Tim just pouted more and focused with the ice bag on his head.

"Fuck! This shit hurts" Tim complained and groaned.

Darren rolled his eyes and snatched the ice bag away from him and took it upon his duty in gently dabbing the ice bag on his head.

This idiot is really an idiot.

Darren have officially changed it's meaning from the original to this idiot man.

Tim sighed satisfied, "You should kiss the pain away too. Fuck it hurts."

"What am I going to do with your antics, cutie?" he asked dramatically wincing in pain.
