"You need to at least have some fun, Ren! We haven't seen each other for a month!" Lee exclaimed through the phone call.
Darren sighed and massaged his temples. He would love to go out for the night with Lily and Lee but how can he? He got loads of work to do.
"I can't" he reasoned out honestly.
Lee grumbled and huffed, "Come on! Lily's been bugging me nonstop to call you! Aren't you bored facing papers everyday? Signing and declining? Meetings all week?"
Darren puffed out a breath. Of course he is but who is he to complain? He worked hard for it.
"I'm fine. Let's just see each other later next week"
Lily sighed, "Fine, fine. Next week"
"Yes."
"Okay, bye! Enjoy Mr. Gay CEO!"
Darren shook his head for what Lee called him before he ended the call. He got back to his laptop and began reading.
