perspective of an assassin sent to kill Carter, hired by the Jester inc. Manager) The office was open, cold, and littered with particles that collided and clashed into one shape, only to split back to millions of small particles again. The cold-looking lady at the opposite end of the table stared at the spliced human at the opposite end of the dramatically large glass table. She sighed "look-" she pauses and says audibly under her breath, "what was the name?" she continues " Gemini, that's it!" she says with over-enthusiasm, "look, Gemini, out of the safety of Jester inc. we would like you to begin the interview." she adds. Gemini sits with a cold stair and impeccable posture. A slow rumble shakes in his outdated Vocality system 1.1.9 from the 2090s. "I have known Jester inc. longer than you have been alive, woman. Tell Oslav that Gemini is proceeding with the contract, as for you, woman, the payday is 3 million bits" he orders with professional speed and accuracy, well, as fast as an outdated vocal system will carry you. She sits with amazement "3 million bits!? That's what the company makes in a quarter." she says with amazement. "Look, I'm not a cheap assassin, I get the job done. As for you, that is another long story" Gemini rumbled. A pack of particles collides in the middle of the table, melding into a representation of Carter, Gemini's target. "This is your target, a middle-aged man, he is weak, an easy target for someone like you" stated the woman with a disgusted tone. The particles split and reform a see-through cylinder. It showed measurements and descriptions of almost everything. Gemini leans forward, "do you know what you just got your selves into?" Gemini asks sincerely. The woman looks puzzled at Gemini. "No, I do not. Carter J. Malstring is just a 40-year-old man, he lives in an apartment and hardly has any friends. Why are you scared of a sack of meat like him?" she asks. Gemini leans back into his chair, even the woman interviewing him could tell him that he was working out a way to tell her of what is to come. "Woman, Carter is no longer this weak being you just described to me. He is now going to be trained to kill, slaughter, and slash anything that gets in his way. That facility you just showed me is not a strip club, apartment, or mall. That place is the WatchTower. An underground spire that the Watcher's inhabit. A place where people like me are afraid to even go within twenty-five miles of. That place...is hell" he explains with fear. Gemini could see that she had goosebumps. "That can't be true, I've met him before, it was his fourth week on the job. He was-disappointing." she explained to him. Gemini placed his right hand on the table, and rested his body, kicking out one of his legs, and leaning back into the chair. "That disappointing man is now going to be spliced like me, he will have; enhanced physical capabilities, tracking, external and internal linkage to 99% of all electronics, Predators anger (preditors anger lets the user simulate what might happen in shortcoming events close to foresight but 250 times more accurate), and blink (short-range teleportation, 10 meters in all directions, X Y and Z)" Gemini lists off to the woman. The particles evaporate causing the impeccable representation of the building to fall apart, they then swarm together and float back to the corner of the room resuming their mesmerizing dance. The woman nods, "that is an issue, as for your pay" she sings as she pulls out an opaque card that has metal bars string across its backside along with a code and the number 3,000,000 flickering across the width of the chip in holographic form. The woman looked greedily at the chip and reluctantly slid the expensive chip across the table to Gemini. He slyly opened his right-hand palm as it perfectly slid into his grasp. Both of their gazes were fixated on the small chip as he placed the chip into a port on his lower left forearm. Gemini slowly gets up from his seat "This may take longer than you expect, but it will be done, now all I need is how you want me to take him out" Gemini completes the transaction and swipes across the holographic screen that displays a warning sign, then directs him to a confirmation tab, he pressed the O.K button at the bottom of what would take a person to read twenty minutes of rules, regulations, and warnings. Gemini pulls out the card and frisbees the now worthless chip back to the woman. She catches it then drops it, picks it back up, and inserts the card back into its original holding place. When she is finished with it she looks back up at Gemini. "I believe Oslav has told you, but I will tell you again. We want a clean kill, whatever means necessary. But he has one exception. No torture. Everything else is game." she explains. Gemini slowly nodes. "Now go get 'em'" she remarks before the meeting is completed.
Time of day: 9:00 p.m Just outside of the Watchtower
Gemini slowly crawls up the dune, finally reaching the peak, sending a miniature avalanche of sand down the long and extensive side of the dune, he went prone as he slung his M.55 090 five point sniper (military-grade sniper rifle, has x-ray sights, 55 cal tracer rounds, air gel-infused recoil allowing lesser kick, laser-etched rifling, and a built-in silencer that does not affect accuracy.) The ammo pouch that was adhered to his utility belt caused a secondary avalanche offsetting his leg by just a bit. He squirmed to get comfy. He scoped in, swaying the end of the barrel and sight trying to find the obscure entryway to the Watchtower. "Come on, it's gotta be here somewhere," he reassured himself. Just at that moment, a large metal door slid open revealing a large mechanical room, a single person stepped through the vault doors. Gemini zoomed in, "Oh my, this was way easier than I thought." Gemini boasts to himself. Gemini counted to himself "one....." Carter slowly walked away from the doors, "two" he counted, Carter now was far enough away from the doors that they started to close, "three" Gemini continued. The heavy doors were now halfway closed. "Four" he anticipated the shot, he was extremely calm for this large and dangerous hit. "Five" he ended the count. Gemini squeezed the trigger releasing a bullet the size of two pens hurtling towards Carter at ferocious speeds, the silence was calming. He looked back through the scope to see the bullet just reach Carter's lower right abdomen, causing a red liquid cloud to spray from him. His weightless body fell to the sand that was now stained red with his last thoughts of terror.
