The driver of the truck was a tall, middle-aged man, with greying hair and sharp eyes. He hopped out on the concrete and went straight to Daechul.
"Daechul, long time no see, yes?", both men shook hands.
"Indeed, Hansul. How's your business going?", smiled Daechul.
Hansul smirked while lighting up a cigarette.
"As long as I have you as my client, it will be splendid", he laughed, and puffed a smoke into the cold air.
Daechul chuckled.
"Consider yourself a millionaire, then."
The Hyun mafia was busy sorting packages and placing them in the warehouse, while the two men conversed.
Daechul enjoyed catching up with one of his most trusted dealers, and he was satisfied with how smooth everything was going. Hansul was there when Daechul was still a baby. He and Sungwoon were friends before they became business partners, so the arrangement that they worked under was always profitable.
"Were you in Seoul these past nine months?", asked Hansul.
Daechul nodded.
"Yeah. I was catching up on work, until I was forced to come back. The company requires leadership too, you know."
Hansul hummed.
"Any news on Sungwoon's executors?"
"Apparently his name is Kim Chungee. He has a small gang that's planning to get rid of me."
"Kim Chungee you say? Doesn't ring a bell unfortunately. Who even is he?", frowned Hansul.
"The hell do I know? The only thing that's clear is that I'm closer than ever. It feels unreal to know that soon the one who messed with Hyuns will be dead", judging by his harsh words, Daechul was determined to make that come to reality.
"I wish you all the luck. Sungwoon did not deserve to die".

The operation was a success. The Hyun mafia's men were quick and efficient, which in turn made the transportation process run without a hitch. All that's left was to deal the drugs and make some good money.
Daechul was quietly observing the scene in front of him after Hansul left, when his phone rang.
The man fished it out of his leather jacket pocket and took a look at the caller ID. To his surprise and relief, it was Sunmi.
"Hyun", Daechul tried to repress his curiosity.
"Hi, Daechul, sorry for the delay", the girl sounded breathless.
"Tell me what happened".
"Not on the phone. Your office, be there in two hours", Sunmi quickly informed and the line went dead.
Daechul frowned, a bit worried for the woman's safety, but eventually he figured that Sunmi was a hitwoman after all, and situations like this certainly wasn't something she was unfamiliar with.
The man went to look for his friends and inform them about his plans. Ilsung, Kangmin and Jinwoo borrowed Daechul's car to do some city exploring, so he needed Kimoon or Eunsang to drive him to the gang headquarters.
He found both men helping another of his workers lift some of the heavier boxes and put them in the suitable places.
The drugs that were stored, varied in their consistency, so it was important to keep those separated. Half of the cocaine was entirely pure, and another half wasn't. High quality drugs cost almost twice as much as the diluted thing.
Some of the Hyun mafia's clientele were young, troubled teenagers, eager to stab their veins raw, either because they could, or because they were trying to forget some of the issues that occured at home. These kinds of people weren't wealthy in any way, so they preferred the cheaper stuff, which was effective enough, if more harmful to the organism because of the additional ingredients. The names of those ingredients were a complete mystery, simply because no one cared enough to find out. For Daechul, it was a profitable business and nothing more.
"Boys, I will need one of you to drive me to the gang building. Ilsung took my car."
Kimoon looked up from the boxes and spoke up.
"I'll drive you, because I too have some things to take care of there".
Daechul nodded, and the men were on their way.

It was around noon when Daechul and Kimoon reached the gang building. The sun was high in the cloudless sky. A gentle breeze caressed the grass and tree leaves. It was peaceful. You could smell distinct aromas of nature and its greenery.
At this time of the year, the Hyun mafia's building had vines climbing up around the structure, as if to desperately reach those cyan skies.
However, the business that happened behind those walls was anything but innocent, and that was reminded when Daechul calmly spoke.
"Did Jung say anything else, that could be of importance?'
Kimoon shook his head as both men reached the main entry of the headquarters.
"Not a word more".
"Then you know what to do next."
The man simply nodded.
In the Hyun mafia, people who lacked value and cooperation just weren't welcome anymore. They were killed and their bodies were disposed of accordingly. Usually Daechul prefered to do that job himself. Unfortunately, he had a really important meeting with Sunmi in an hour, so Kimoon had to deal with that instead.
"Report to me as soon as it's done".
"Will do."

Daechul didn't know what to expect when he finally saw Sunmi, but it certainly wasn't that. The woman was calm and collected, her clothes ironed and freshly washed, hair prettily braided.
When she greeted Daechul, the breathlessness that was apparent in her voice during their brief call, was no longer there. She was ready to kill.
"Daechul."
"Sunmi," the man motioned one of the two plush leather chairs for the woman to sit down in.
"What something to drink?"
"Oh, not today. I am the one driving," she smiled.
"Alright. So, tell me. What happened?", the man was clearly curious.
Sunmi sighed, and her carefully crafted easy going expression wavered for a split second.
"I was doing some work, snooping in the industrial district looking for clues, because one of my men reported some suspicious meeting happening in one of the abandoned buildings. I was lucky to be able to see and hear everything. There were five men in total. Unfortunately, I won't be able to give detailed descriptions on all of them. However, one man stood out more than the rest. He was tall and very buff. His hair was completely dark, like midnight black. He had a scar on his left cheek and his voice was very deep."
Daechul nodded, mentaly storing the information into his memory for later. He urged Sunmi to go on.
"At first I thought that the meeting was not important, that it was just some ordinary drug dealing bullshit. Until one of them mentioned Hyun's surname. That's when it got interesting. The men were talking about the mafia, how they were planning to take over it, something like that. Then, the man with a scar said that Daechul needs to go first. That he was proud that Sungwoon was dead, but his family was still a treat. Especially the oldest son. I was so startled by hearing that, that I slipped on the wet concrete, and they heard me. I was barely able to get away. After that, I drove out of Busan, fearing that they would find and kill me. At least I was able to warn you.
I spent a few days at my hometown in Daegu, and decided to get back, because it seemed that no one was looking for me there. Luckily all my men got away without a scratch too. But Daechul, those people seem very dangerous. The most reasonable thing for you would be to run and never look back", Sunmi was frowning, her words were completely serious.
However, Daechul felt a bit betrayed.
"For fuck's sake, Sunmi, I am the head of the Hyun mafia. I am not afraid of a few men with guns. I won't let them get away with murdering my father," he angrily stated.
Sunmi nodded, resigned.
"Okay, I'm sorry Daechul. I was just looking out for you."
Daechul sighed.
"Are you still going to help me?"
"Of course."

After Sunmi left, promising to contact Daechul, the man in question relaxed in his chair with a glass of whiskey while he was waiting for Kimoon to get back from his assignment. The man was supposed to finish it shortly. After that, Daechul was planning to go home earlier and catch up with his family a bit. Then he supposed he should check out Go mansion, as it was left alone all this time, only five of his men watching over it, and waiting for the protagonists to show up again.
However, his rest was cut short when he heard a commotion, happening from outside the building. The window was cracked open, so the man could pick up Kimoon's voice, along with shrill sounds that Minsoo was letting out.
The man sighed in frustration and stood up, prepared for the upcoming drama that was sure to happen as soon as he stepped out in the open.
