It was the first time Roland had a feeling that this was real and that there was a purpose for him coming here. He may not know what that purpose was, but someone intentionally sent him here. As crazy as it may sound, there was definitely something fishy about that ringing phone, he should have known better!
Well, too late now, after all bygones are bygones. He was already here, so he might as well do something worthwhile. First of all, he had to work on bringing up his cultivation to a higher level, he also needed more resources and protection from the clan that would ensure the events of yesterday never repeated.
After being knocked out, Roland had reached a meditative state, this led him to a familiar place- the seaside. He went there with his parents at a young age and had a good memory of it, especially how beautiful the sunset looked. Alas, time is cruel- he had lost them and was now no longer even in the same world to his knowledge. After a certain period of time, Roland was mysteriously woken from that state, it seemed that there was a restriction on how long he could spend there.
This was the first time after arriving here, that Roland took things seriously and planned a future, treating it as if he was reborn into a new world. His main goal would be to become an authoritive figure, at least a king of at a small country or reach the same level of power to become one within the next 10 years to learn more about this world and have control on his fate.
'Now then, I need to identify what exactly my elemental affinity is before I can think about where to go from here. I'll go somewhere more discreet at night to experiment with these powers and see what my current level is at as well.'
"I almost forgot, Solio came here earlier- yet I didn't see her. I guess that must mean that the ones in charge are fine with me keeping my secrets. I guess that works in my favour for now as I really don't know too much about what happened and why. Based on the memories it must be because I'm not the original host of the body. I wonder what happened to the host, he must have died or something as what usually happens in anime." murmured Roland.

It was now night, Roland had grabbed an old cloak and covered himself, before leaving the settlement in the dark. He was very cautious and treaded with light feet to ensure no sound was made as he didn't want anyone else to know what he was doing. It might bring trouble if they found out there was anything odd about him.
Finally reaching a green patch, Roland hurried inside. Unlike the forest this was a small area that was safe for disciples to visit and was more for enjoyment purposes. 'I guess this is also some kind of enjoyment, I'll be happier if I grow stronger' thought Roland with a grin on his face. At least here there was no concept of damage to public property.
Most of the night was spent with Roland using small amount of chi to experiment on different items to judge the effects of his element. However, what he swiftly found was that no matter what it was- regardless of material or thickness. Once he visualised damage to it an area within that object would implode. It wasn't something that Roland figured out in a day, after 4-5 days of coming at night and pretending to be injured at day- finally towards daybreak on the 5th day Roland realised that his ability worked like a black hole with his fist being the centre of attraction, which is why everything imploded. What surprised him was that the centre of attraction didn't seem to be his fist though but the centre of the location he punched. So if he punched something and moved his hands away the attraction did not move with him.
Seeing how his body performed he felt that he was at the 'Fighter Realm' somewhere in the later stages yet he didn't know exactly what level he was at. Of course, unlike web novels where transmigrators retain perfect memory of the hosts entire life history, Roland only had bits and pieces. It didn't seem feasible to fit two life long memories into one brain without creating a split personality or bleedover of traits from memories. Not that Roland was given the choice, this was the only bits of memories left in the body. Almost as if the others had been removed from the body or kicked out, which certainly felt wierd.
Excited that he now had something to work with, Roland quickly hurried back to the barracks to hide again. He had only just gone in and was about to get into bed, when he heard a knock at the door and a notice was read out shortly after:
"Disciple Zuck, you have been summoned to the coming of age ceremony the day after tomorrow for the testing of talent and selection of school which will have an impact on your future potential. Rest well and prepare for the ceremony, we expect you to be at the Hall of Elders by 5am for further information. If you cannot attend, submit a letter to the administation elders by midnight tomorrow. That is all!"
After a stomp, there was the sound of footsteps receeding and a marching sound as if some type of military squad was moving out.
"Well, I guess it is time to show this world what I've got!"
