Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

Mia's head swayed from right to left, as she slowly started waking up. It felt like her head had gained a tremendous amount of weight and was difficult to hold straight. She tried exhaling but the air was blocked by something, a large cloth that was tied to the back of her head and going through her mouth. She had her hands tied behind her the back of a metallic seat and her legs tied to its legs. Slowly she opened her eyes and the room came into focus. There was a dark grey throne sitting against the far wall behind her. It had drill-like spikes coming out from behind it, slowly getting longer as you looked from the outside to the center of the seat which had a black fabric on it. The armrest had a dark grey fabric on them with the fronts of each armrest being a skull. The throne itself was drilled into the floor which was 3 steps higher near the throne. Large pipes ran along the other walls as the moonlight fell in the center of the room from the glass floor above the throne and a window above it. The silvery glow lit up the entire room, giving it a celestial, almost cosmic feeling. The walls were a dull grey, almost the same color as the throne but lighter.

"Did you have a pleasant trip?" said a voice from the darkness near the left wall, "I'm sorry if they were a bit rough, they don't quite know how to treat a lady yet."

Clip! Clip! Clip! The sound grew closer and closer until the shadows revealed the man responsible for it. From them emerged a man who looked to be the same age and height as Avecii. He was wearing a blood red suit with a black shirt on underneath that had grey flowers highlighting it. The top two buttons were open revealing two golden chains, one that had a diamond studded dagger insignia on it and the other had a small, red jeweled crown. He had shiny black hair that was neatly combed to and fell down past his right eye. He stared at Mia with crimson red eyes and a cold smile. He had a very small yet sharp nose which made his small and pointy chin even more noticeable. However, the strangest feature about him was his nails. They stuck an inch out from where his fingertips ended and were constructed of steel and painted red.

"Amo, Amo Re is my name, Miss Mia." He gave a small bow.

"You're probably… scared… curious… worried..." Amo said slowly while walking around her, "Don't be… we don't plan on doing anything with you… we've got plenty of cargo ready at the moment."

"You see, ever since Boss Marco brought me in, we've seen the Scudi on numerous occasions but never in the streets, or in Rome for that fact," He said clenching his hands behind his back, "And we've always been compared to them…"

"But they left the Mafia life long ago… and if they were the only ones who could stand against us, why are we not called the strongest Mafia yet..." He continued, "The answer is simple… it's because of their legacy."

"During their golden age they had one of the most deadly sharpshooters in Rome, Red-Dot Nello, A swordsman blessed by the divine, Sword Saint Carlos, the man said to be the reincarnation of the devil himself, Great Ghoul Luca, a man who could bite through steel, Iron Jaw Morty and the man who commanded these beasts, Thunder God Rico." Amo continued.

"While Spada were no weaker, they were not stronger either, and because the Scudi disappeared before the Spada could defeat them, their image remained to haunt the Spada," He stopped and turned to Mia, "So how do we free ourselves from his nightmare?"

"By obliterating the current Scudi!" A huge grin grew on his face as his eyes started twinkling.

Mia felt a cold shiver run through her body. She knew that face was not the face of a human, this man was something else, someone far more deadly than anyone she had heard of or seen.

"Dear Mia, you are only the bait to attract the large fish..." He said as he moved to the area from which he had emerged, "And when they come… I have a surprise for them."

Four large figures moved in the shadows, they were bigger than any human Mia had seen. They slowly walked forwards but stayed just out of the light.

"My family will be waiting for them." He grinned.
