Cassidy's POV:
I woke up feeling the truck not moving an looked around, I saw Ryan knelt in tha field. The rain pounding down I grabbed my hair from all over the place and rolled it into a bun. Breathing in and I could hear Beth sayin be strong my princess, don't let him ride away.
I opened the door and got out, he looked over at me. "Ryan," I said slowly.
I walked into the field, he turned back lookin at the field. "Huuu, thank you," I said.
"Fer what," he said and bowed his head.
"For bein my knight in scuffed boots," I said tears starting again.
He looked over an stood up, "some knight I am, he hurt you again," he said.
"It's not yer fault," I whispered.
"Huu," he shook his head in defeat.
"Ryan truth is, you been my knight, since we met, but I am so scared, ta love you, huuu, my heart is in pieces, but if ya let me, I'll try, maybe you could," I started shaking and crying.
I paused lookin down at my hands my fingers knitting together. "Maybe you could fix my heart, an lend me yer armor," I cried out in a meek voice.
His eyes ran up my body an fer the first time I really saw him. He wasn't really a bad boy, just misunderstood. He smiled a bit, an he put his hands on his hips. "Are ya sayin," he started to say but stopped.
"That yes I wanna be yer girl," I breathed out.
"Phuu, Huu, Huuu," he breathed out puffs of air.
Walking towards me his hands ran over my hips an I ran my hands up to his cheeks. I stood on my tip toes as his lips connected with mine warming me from head to toe. I could feel it take over every inch of me from head ta toe.
Electricity like lightning had crashed threw us an he lifted me up around his waist. Holding me tight, thunder rolling threw the sky. I broke the kiss looking into his eyes my forehead against his. "I uh, I got some duck tape in tha truck we could tape that up with," he said smirking.
"Thu, hu," I huffed out a small laugh, closed my eyes and shook my head slow against his.
"Corse that is if ya don't plan on walkin out in front of me again," he said.
I lifted my head, "I was watchin, you weren't," I said tryin ta be serious.
"I thought we agreed ta give that up anyway," I said after he stood silently eyes closed.
"Well now that depends," he said a smile sprawling across his lips.
"Mmm, on what," I said my heart started poundin, an I smiled leaning my forehead back.
He ran his nose along mine softly, his eyes opening sparkling blue. "on tha company I'm with," he whispered.
I shook my head as a tear rolled down my cheek. He leaned up and kissed it away. I opened my eyes to see him smiling.
"Hm, I'm glad we both weren't," he said.
I smiled back, "me too Huu," I whispered.
Our lips met again soft an slow as the rain seemed to pour all around us. To me though I was warm, and it was like the sun was on just us. I wrapped my arms around him an put my head on the side of his.
"Cassidy," he said.
"Mm," I moaned.
"I love you," he said.
I backed my head up lookin in his eyes, the clouds seemed to spin in them. The truth told though, he did love me. "I, huuu, I have so many scars Ryan," I breathed out.
"Well, ain't we a pair then, hm," he said.
"Huuu,I guess we are," I said.
"Truth is Cassidy, I've loved you since yer crazy ass yelled at me in front of that church, I tried ta stop but, I just, hmmmm, I kept loosing grip round you," he said.
I frowned, "ya know ya don't have ta blow smoke up my ass," I said.
"I'm not, I thought you were the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen," he said softly, his hand running up my back.
"Huuu, yer crazy ya know that," I said.
"Ya I do, fer you, cause I couldn't do any of this for anyone else," he said.
His words ran threw me like the rain washin the dirt off everything, he actually loved me. Broken an scared an crazy, all of it, he really loved me. That moment in time I leaned my head back the rain washin my face. Beth whispering Prince Charming is really real, an there's one for you my girl.
I looked back at him, "I can't say I love you just yet, but I can say that, you definitely are a Prince Charming that was worth the scars ta get here," I whispered.
"Huuu, I need you Cassidy," he said.
"I need you too Ryan," I confessed back.
Ryan's POV
My heart was thunderin in my chest, coulda been the thunder too but her words shook me. She had finally opened up. I felt so alive and weak to her at the same time as I held her around me. I got it out she really knows how I feel. It's like a weight is off my chest an I can breath.
It was out, I was in love with her officially I never wanted ta stop. Her saying she needed me too was enough steps taken to recovery. That road was found and every day from here on in I promised my self there an then. I will walk with her down it, showing her just how much I did love her.
Vowing that I put my bad boy to rest and be a one woman man as long as I have her. Her flaws, her mouth, her attitude, her hurt, her pain, all of it. I wanted it, part of tha battle was done. As of May 30th she was mine an nothin could take that away.
