Chapter 208 - CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND SEVEN

Having grown up in this life, I knew how to bluff, something this motherf**ker hasn't learned yet, his second mistake. His first was believing he could simply pull a chair and sit in front of me, in such a disrespectful manner.

Leaning back, I chuckle, "in his wife's bed," I retorted, with a smirk as his hostility deepens. Being the inexperience young man, that he is, he couldn't hold his anger in and moved to lean over the table but Justin silently laid his gun on the table, facing him.

With his eyes on Justin's gun, he slowly sat back and looked over to his 'friends' as they left one, by one and my men sitting where they previously sat, with only Jessica Scott remaining.

He moved to stand but I sprang up and held unto the collar of the black jacket he wore.

"Oh no you don't," I whispered in his face.

There was no fear in his eyes, as he clenched his jaws and glared at me.

"Looks like your mama didn't teach you any manners," I chuckle, pulling my right hand back, I introduced my fist to his jaw.

Before he could react, I hit him in the same spot a second time because the first was for his disrespect and the second was a reminder of the first.

Over his head, Mrs. Phillips stood staring at me, with the palms of her hands covering her open mouth.

Still holding unto his collar with my left hand, "should we deal with this disrespectable boy now?" I asked my best friend and according to grandmother, my right foot.

Rubbing his short beard, Justin fixates on Clyde, whose glaring back at us, without fear. If he wasn't who he is, I would actually respect the strength he displays, with only his pulsating jaws showing any type of reaction from him.

"Aren't you collecting some pastries for your grandparents dinner this evening?" Twitching his eyebrows, Justin informs me.

Nodding, "right, dinner with the grandparents," I muttered.

Smiling, "guess today's your lucky day, boy" I chuckle. "We'll do this another time." I added, "just remember this," I continued, "you need to ask me something, ask but don't f**king disrespect me and confront me with this," I started cautioning him, "I am the f**king bad boy in town attitude," gritted my teeth, I watch him relax a bit as I warned him, shoving him backwards, roughly, causing him to hit the chair he was occupying to topple over and falling backwards, with it.

Jessica rushed across to assist him as he struggle to stand but he pushed her away angrily.

Clyde walked briskly ahead of Jessica, who ran to keep up with him.

"Hey, I didn't get the name," I shout behind him, "so I can mention it to grandfather." I added as he stopped at the door.

Clyde turned and glare at me from the doorway before striding angrily outside, unto the carpark of the Bakery.

Justin was already picking up the chair, while I gather the coffee pot and plates leaving Justin to carry the coffee mugs to the counter.

"OH MY GOD" Mrs. Phillips gasped as I approached the counter. "What type of crowd did young Jessica get herself involved in?" Mrs. Phillip shook her head in disbelief as she thinks about what she just asked.

With a smirk, Justin turns and winks at me.

Yes if only Mrs. Phillips knew to whom her granddaughter was married too.

Shrugging to make light of Mrs. Phillips comment, "when Jamie has the baby, she will try to be more involved in her sister's life and try to help her but until then, we can only hope she comes to her senses soon." I responded as a responsible elder brother-in-law should.

Nodding, "yes but the main thing is Jamie's health until the baby," Mrs. Phillip agrees and smiles at the thought of Jamie and the baby. "Please give her our love," Mrs. Phillip says but she is still nervous after what she just witness.

If my first encounter with Clyde Daniels had occurred anywhere else, it would have ended totally different. He should be lucky I didn't vent the anger I felt after what he did to my wife, to me and especially to Ralph.

Justin and I took our leave from the Bakery after ensuring Mrs. Phillips and the staff remain safe from Clyde Daniels crew.

We stayed out later than we planned but still I had to pay grandfather a visit before joining Jamie and the parents for dinner.

"Evening," I greeted the man who sat outside grandfather's permanent home on the Castle ground, "you should get your dinner" I tell him before entering the room where grandfather is presently housed, pulling his phone out of my pocket.

Grandfather sat on the double bed facing the blank television screen on the wall in front of him, with a thoughtful expression on his face.

"Have you had dinner?" I asked, dragging a chair to sit in front of him, then passed him a box with slice of black forest cake, which is a favourite of his. "I mentioned to Clyde that I was having dinner with you but I got kept back after he tried coming on to strong at me." I told grandfather, smiling as he turned to stare at me dumbfounded.

"What did you do?" Grandfather asked, his forehead creased with a deep frown.

Sitting back, I kept flicking the phone in my hand, "Let's just say, he knows to change his mannerism before approaching me," I chuckle dryly, as grandfather leaped off the bed to grab me.

Clutching the collar of my shirt, his eyes burning with anger, as he glared into my eyes, "WHAT THE F**K DID YOU DO?" Grandfather yelled in my face.

Since grandfather was chained to the wall behind him, there was little that he could do, "if only you felt just as passionate when he tried to kill me.
