Chapter 179 - CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY NINE

It's a good thing I took Jerome's advice by filling the Castle gardens with all of Jamie's favourite flowers.

I ended up having no sleep at all, since I waited until Jamie fell asleep to make my move and filling our bedroom with all those white flowers from our flower garden at the Castle, was first on my list.

Cam had the guys cutting flowers in the dark, in order to have them here when Jamie woke up. Even though she doesn't sleep through the night, I'm realizing she's still an early riser, so I needed to have this done before she arose from her beauty sleep, not that she needs it, nor am I'm going to use that phrase, just as I'm no longer using the phrase, about pregnant women getting fat, during their pregnancy.

I'm having traces of persons who shouldn't be on the Castle compound removed from plain sight. Jamie may not realize it, but Judge Delaney questioning her about activities at the Castle gave me a heads up.

The cop's activities on the compound ceased when we started working on the grounds, so the bigger question now, is who alerted the cops and what do they suspect , is happening on the compound.

Other than dad and I, along with Justin and Cam, no one really knows what's going on, which is why I need to move in there as soon as possible.

Dad has agreed that we, as a family will move in and with the amount of rooms in and around the grounds, there's more than enough room for our forces, but keeping the cabins at the lake is also a must, because it is still off everyone's radar and being hidden from grandfather and his extended family, is something I intend to continue, until Jamie gives birth.

Then it's war!

"Hey," Jamie says softly surprising me from behind, where I sat pondering in the living room area with a cup of coffee in front of me, that's getting cold.

Spinning around, I was greeted with a bright smile on her face but her eyes appeared more dull than usual.

I didn't want to alert her of my concern so I tried hiding it, fully planning on having Doctor Morris visit her today.

"Hey," I responded, getting up off the sofa to bring her closer to me. "Why are you walking?" I asked, because if she was on her chair I would have heard her approaching.

Looking behind her, "I.. I am not sure," she chuckles nervously. "I haven't used it since I was at the lake," she admitted, "and I feel stronger," she added with a nervous laugh. "Actually, I think it has to do with the flower shop in my bedroom." She chuckles, wrapping her hand around my neck, pulling my head downwards.

With a smirk, I instantly captured her lips in a deep kiss, deepening it as she opens her mouth, inviting me in.

"Thank you," she whispers shyly as we broke for air.

"I miss you," I responded before kissing her breathless once again. "I've missed us," I admitted, something I am not accustom, doing and I know this woman in my arms is my only weakness, so ensuring she's safe is keeping my sanity. If I lose her, I would become nothing!

"I'm sorry for being a bitch all the time around you these days," Jamie surprised me by admitting, while we sat eating a light breakfast I had Jerome pick up for me, excluding the tea which I tired to make.

"How the tea?" I asked watching her frown after taking her first sip.

"Uh.. I.. " she stutters, "Who made it?" She asks curiously, taking another sip, but this time, keeping her eyes downcast.

So this could go two ways, it's either good or it's horrible, so which is it?

"Does it taste that bad?" I asked instead, only to see her frown increased.

Shaking her head, "uh no." She finally answered, "it is good," she admitted but I didn't believe her so I reached for her cup.

"Here let me try it," I said already taking the cup from her hand, but she hesitated.

Laughing, "it's fine. I promise you," she tried withholding the cup from me."You made it me didn't you?' Jamie was quick to catch on.

"Didn't you?" She pressed on, laughing, but her eyes were still dull and the shade under her eyes were darker than usual.

"Okay, yeah I made it or at least I tried," I confessed, pulling out my phone to message Doctor Morris.

With her eyes on the phone, "bored with my company already?" she asks already pulling away.

Shaking head, I pulled her back. "No!" I responded, "I'm messaging doctor Morris to pay us a visit," feeling her stiffen beside me.

"But why?" She asks, sounding impatient. "I'm fine, don't bother him." She tried to move again but I had to think fast without letting her know, her paleness worries me.

Focusing on my phone and the quick message I was trying to send.

"Actually I need to discuss the C-Section surgery with him," I explained hoping she won't probe for more information, because yesterday, I good as told the doctor, I'm not agreeing to it.

Her countenance changed, "uh, okay," she answered focusing on her breakfast once again."Yeah sure," she lifts her head, smiling at me, but still, I don't believe it's how she feels right now.

I stare at the woman sitting beside me, remembering the first time I laid eyes on her. I will always be grateful to mom for forcing me to attend the wedding, simply to observe the bridal party and the guests reaction to her designs.

When my eyes fell on the photographer, I couldn't see anything else.

I followed her every move, surprised she didn't realize I was eye stalking her.

In a very short space of time, I found her to be all I wanted, ensuring, I'm all she needed!
