Chapter 180 - CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY

"You can go do whatever needs to be done," I tell Logan, flicking my hand indicating the phone in his hand, after watching him, send text messages every five minutes or so. "I don't need a babysitter," I had to throw in since I actually feel jealous that he finds someone else's attention more interesting.

With his head bent over his phone, he raises his eyebrows, with a mischievous smirk.

"I'm good, right here beside you," he laughs, reverting his eyes to the phone and continues typing. "I ordered some materials, but the store mixed up my order," he explains, typing away.

The phone in his hand was angled away from me, so I couldn't see the contents, all I had was his word, his word that doesn't carry much strength for me anymore.

"If I'm supposed to be living at the castle and using a bathroom, shouldn't I be involved in the decor?" I asked watching his body tense up and his fingers paused over the phone.

Turning his bent head towards me, already masking his surprise expression.

Looking back to his phone, he pressed send and sat up straight, to give me his full attention.

"Wow," he whispered to himself, chuckling softly. "If you don't like the colour, then blame your brother, because he's the one who helped me decide on it." Logan explains, when I saw a notification light blink up at the corner of his phone.

"You've got a message," I informed him, turning away and leaving him to deal with his messages, which he anxiously opened.

I started reading the text book on my lap, to draw my attention away from him. Although I don't think it'll be any use to me, since I won't be able to finish my degree.

With my eyes on the pages, my mind kept wondering as to what, Logan's actually doing at the castle and why would it draw Judge Delaney's attention.

Logan won't tell me, that I know for sure, but who can?

Would Cameron betray Logan's trust and tell me?

Darn this wheelchair and darn me, I thought, slamming the book shut in frustration.

Frowning angrily, I just stared at the quilt covering me, that was made of different pieces of fabric I chose at the store years ago.

Smiling at the memories and the fun I had with grams while making them.

That's it!

Pulling my phone from under my leg, I started searching for fabrics to make a quilt for my baby and I'll have Jer pic up the fabrics I chose, with his brand new SUV!

While I was scrolling, I got a notification which I was about to bypass until I saw it was from the man sitting beside me.

I debated opening the message but curiosity won.

Without looking at him, I opened the message to see video. Opening the video, I couldn't hide my surprise.

The person doing the video was silently walking me through the bathroom, which I assume would the bathroom I would be sharing with Logan.

The interior was gold and white and I can honestly say I was in awe of it all.

The floor was laid out finish with gold tiles, while the walk in shower with gold doors, that was made so much easier to get into. The pipe furnishing were all in gold with the face sinks and all the other fittings in white.

Instead of looking at Logan, I replayed the video to see what I missed.

Smiling to myself, because one thing I know for sure is that this bathroom does not belong in an aged old Castle.

"I guess my tastes hasn't gone stale," Logan chuckles, no doubt observing me.

Shrugging, without looking at him, "hmm," I responded, to continue my online shopping for my quilt, already planning to use mom's workshop.

"Seriously?" Logan exclaims in surprised, causing me to turning. "No comments?" He said when he got my attention, shaking his head, he looks away towards the kitchen entrance where Justin was strolling through with a trouble expression.

"What now?" Logans asks impatiently.

Justin looks at me with a worried frown.

"You can speak in front of her," Logan gives Justin permission to get me in the loop of things?

Taking a seat opposite us, "Lawrence wants to meet with you," Justin informs Logan with his eyes on me.

"Why?" Logan growls. "Tell him I'm busy," he instructs Justin.

Before Justin could move, "is that Angela's father?" I asked softly. "Isn't she still missing?" I probed not missing Logan and Justin's facial expression or the looks they exchanged.

"If he's reaching out for you to help find his daughter, you should help him," I suggested, "and maybe you could use him to help you deal with your grandfather and whoever he's in allegiance with." I added, withholding the fact that I know who his grandfather is teaming up with against him.

The guys stared at each other thoughtfully for a moment, then Logan looks away, "we'll see." He agreed halfheartedly.

I know, I can just feel it. They know where she is and isn't going to admit it to me.

I can test them though.

"I have a suggestion," I offered excitedly.

Rolling his eyes, "another one?" Logan asks, but he still seem interested in hearing me out.

"When you find Angela, why not let the information leak out that the person your grandfather is teaming up with, kidnapped her?" I said, "at least that could leave you guys in the clear." I finished with a smirk.

"What the f**k are you talking about?" Logan asks, while Justin throws me a wink standing to leave Logan and I to argue no doubt.

But not today!

Today is all about making quilts for my baby!

"Arrange a meeting with you guys and Mr. Lawrence," I instructed Logan, aware that he'll be leaving the compound for the meeting and giving me time to breathe.

Justin looks at Logan, "not him, me!"
