Chapter 163 - CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE

The last thing on my mind as I cuddled Jamie was meeting my grandmother later in the evening.

By the time I started stirring, forcing to open my eyes, obsessed with thoughts of my meeting with grandmother. I expect Justin to be here to accompany me, because meeting Clyde Daniels, my father's much younger half brother, set something in motion, but I don't know, yet

I turned to my side and observed my sleeping wife, smiling at her, clad in my T-shirt, which I love seeing her wear, as it rode up to her breast, exposing her protruding baby bump, her full hips, her lower body clad in a skimpy underwear.

Throwing a leg lightly over her, I hugged her to me.

What are the odds, my uncle and I falling for the same girl?

Chuckling to myself, she chose the better one.

How did Jamie not recognize his name as the same as mines? Although Jerome did say she considered him like a brother, so she may have forgotten about him over the years, but he clearly didn't forget her.

Sighing, rubbing my thumb against Jamie's shoulder, did grandfather know about his younger son's interest in Jamie, his mistress surely did.

Grandmother will have answers for me or maybe this will also be news to her.

After being out all of last night , I need to give Jamie a proper explanation for this evening's activities, but f**k me, if I go and get drunk again.

I started kissing and sucking Jamie's neck to wake her and yes, mission accomplished. I smiled as she started stirring, flinging my arm off her.

"What?" She responded grumply, turning to her other side, her back now facing me.

I rolled closer to cuddle her awake, spooning her.

Pushing me away, "I need more sleep," Jamie whined and I laughed at her whiny tone.

Shrugging I slowly started moving away, "okay, I guess I will have to go out again today," I mutter loudly to myself and that also does the trick, with my curious wife.

Moaning, Jamie turns, "what?" She complained, "I didn't sleep at all last night, do you want me to go through the same thing tonight?" Jamie's gorgeous grays glares at me and I find myself falling in love all over again with her and this time, I'm happy that she's mines.

In all seriousness, I know I have to sell her something believable for her not to question me much.

In all honestly I don't know what the f**k is happening. I am just going on hunches now and I have a feeling I am going to have to recruit Jerome on this one. There is something and if it is connected with grandfather's other family, then I need inside information.

"I have to meet grandmother and it's important." I explained and Jamie frowned, her silk forehead creasing with worry line.

Kissing her worry lines, "I won't be alone, Justin will be going with me and I am thinking about taking Jerome," I explained but she's still frowning.

"Jer?" She asks quickly, "Clyde Daniels?" She says softly and closing my eyes, I took a deep breath. She's good at adding up!

I know I need to share something with her and I am suddenly thankful, no one knows where we are living.

"He's grandfather's illegitimate son, my father's half brother." I explained, laughing at Jamie's shocked expression.

"Wow!" She exclaimed, eyes widening in wonderment.

Her wonderment disappeared in an instant, "how is your grandfather still alive?" She asked and now I'm the shock one.

"What do you mean?" I frowned at her now, because I am now, the confused one.

"If I was your grandmother, I would have killed him by now," Jamie replied confidently, snuggling into my arms.

Staring into her innocent face, "if grandmother had only taken a moment to know you, she would love you." I told her, but she wasn't impress. "But I will take note of my impending death, should I cheat." I chucked.

Concern still evident in her eyes and upturned mouth, "why Jer? Why Clyde?" She asks and I wonder if telling her I am going on a hunch is to feeble of an explanation.

"I don't know Jamie, but I keep feeling that I am missing something somewhere. A connection and after bringing grandmother into a conversation where I was about to blackmail my grandfather into giving us Amy and Justina." I continued thoughtfully, "I just have this hunch that I might be onto something." I added, mostly to myself.

Staring up at me as I hovered over her, "does this have to do with your grandfather wanting me out of your life?" Jamie asks the question which is always to the front of her mind.

Nodding, "yes but I still can't put it together, why would he leave his Castle, grandmother's pride and joy to you?" I wondered, about this puzzle that is either getting more difficult, or maybe things are now adding up.

Closing her eyes for a brief second, "maybe we should visit the Castle after my next doctor's visit." She suggested and I panicked for a second, hoping I was quick enough to mask it, because that is where Angela Lawrence is being hosted.

I underestimated my wife, who was quicker than I was, "what now?" Narrowing her eyes, she watched me suspiciously.

"Would you trust me and not ask any questions about that?" I asked hopefully.

Fluttering my eyes at her, "well the Castle is my home," she reminded me and I nod in agreement.

"Yes, but didn't we agree, that you won't ask any questions about my plans to bring our war with grandfather to an end.' I reminded her.

Turning away from me again, her eyes closed, "just don't go blowing it to shreds, like you did to your parents home." She whined, curling up to sleep again.

Laughing, I got off the bed to put my plan in motion and allow Jamie to sleep so the questions and answer segment would stop.

Firstly, shower, Jerome, Whiz and Justin.
