Chapter 126 - CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY SIX

Glaring at me once again, "are you f***ing kidding me?" He growls softly, then palms my face again to search my eyes, "Jamie what happened between when I left you to sleep and when you came out here? And why are you crying?" He asks softly, caressing my cheeks with his thumbs.

Embarrassed to tell him what I overheard, I just shook my head, denying that anything got me upset.

Standing up angrily, "then somebody in there f***ing better have some answers!" He yells. "Let's go!"He was already pushing the chair.

Justin!

He'll tell him I was outside the kitchen! Why do I do such stupid things?

"Wait!" I turn to hold his hand, watching his eyes, glaring downwards. "I'm being stupid" I paused as he stops to watch me, his jaws clenched.

He stood staring down at me, waiting for me to continue and I stared back up at him tongue tied.

Raising an eyebrow, observing me as I try to speak, "I was walking towards the kitchen earlier, because I was hungry" I started and his gaze softens as it dawns on him, what had happen earlier, between him and his parents.

Stooping in front of me, "tell me Jamie!" He said, searching my eyes. "Tell what you heard and ask me what you want to know!" He continues softly, bringing tears to my eyes.

"I'm stupid and paranoid and get upset easily and cry every day now!" I wailed. "Something is wrong with me, because I cry for the slightest thing now!" I continued, ashamed for thoughts earlier as I continue to embarrass myself with my husband, every f***ing day now!

Chuckling softly as he wipes my tears, while they keep running down my cheeks, that has gotten chubby.

"You're pregnant!" He laughs, "some pregnant women experience these roller coaster rides." He was saying and I frown.

Watching him, through blurry eyes, "How do you know?" I asked curiously, my brain engine starting to run again.

Laughing at my expression, "I have seven books that I've been reading and counting." He admitted with a sly smile.

Surprised, I frowned, starting to wipe my tears, "you have books about pregnancy?" I couldn't hide my shock. "You actually went and bought those books" I was asking and he nods.

"Plus Cam brought me one and another two on newborns. Whiz also shows me where to read up on topics online." He laughs, with embarrassment.

"Wow!" He's reading up on baby and pregnancy? No wonder he knows how to deal with the crazy pregnant lady, he's married too!

"Okay!" I said looking back, "I'm hungry!" I told him and he shook his head.

"No, we're gonna talk about what you heard and what you didn't hear" He says with determination. "We're gonna talk and now" he cuts across as I open my mouth to protest.

Can this day get any worse?

I started to repeat the argument I heard and when I left, feeling defeated.

When I was done talking, he lifted my chin, "Jamie, for the first time I explained to anyone how I felt during those first days." He started and I nod for him to continue.

"I told dad what I did because I needed him to understand that I'm fighting grandfather for us" he touches my belly, "and him" he opens my shirt and kisses my protruding stomach.

"Let's go inside and feed you guys and we'll talk and when were done talking, all this running and hiding has to stop" Logan warns me sternly.

"Okay" I replied meekly, because I was ashamed and I was hungry.

Using the route I used to come out here, Logan and I returned to our bedroom using the backdoor.

"Logan!" I called as he was about to go into the bathroom.

Stopping, he turns around, "it's frustrating to be dependant on people to prepared my meals and do our laundry. I'm feel as if, I've failed at everything in my life and that I spoil everything, I touch." I blurted out and I don't know why.

Worry lines creased his forehead, "you're not a failure Jamie" he returns to my side. "Far from that" he cups my face and watches me intently.

Looking around the room "I know I don't spend time with you and I'm going to do better, but I have things to do twenty four 'O seven, but I love you and as soon as we remove our threat, we'll be free." He promises.

Wondering if this is a good time to ask, "can I speak to Jess?" I asked, watching him go from, surprise, shocked and now annoyed.

I won't plead, but I'm sure there must be someway for us to speak without giving away our location.

With that Logan, just walked back to the bathroom closing the door softly behind him.

Logan returns and kisses me softly, "let's eat and I'll see what I can do" he promises with a soft smile.

Mrs. Stanley was alone in the kitchen reading a newspaper and quickly got up with a smile when Logan and I walked in.

"Jamie, you're finally hungry?" She chuckles, moving towards the counter where the food is packed.

Logan exchanged a quick glance between us, "Mrs. Stan, go back and sit down, I'll handle my wife and I" he chuckles and smile, because I don't mind my husband attending to be, but I refuse to burden Mrs. Stanley all the time.

"But" Mrs. Stanley starts to protest and Logan escorted her back to her chair to continue reading the latest news reports.

Logan dished out two plates of Logan's and now our baby's favourite, pork ribs, potatoes, green salad and gravy.

The three of us sat chatting about news happening around the work and one of them is a volcano erupting in a island in the Caribbean.

Logan ended up googling live feed and it was scary and sad at the same time to watch the horror unfold.
