Chapter 95 - CHAPTER NINETY FIVE

Logan set out with Justin, Cameron and six other guys, to do what I've asked them to do and I make no apologises. All I request, is that they are safe.

The light knocking on my, door made me jump, nervously.

No one knows where the guys are, so Logan ask me to remain quiet in the dark room, even though he did place two guards outside my room.

Everyone is suppose to believe that we went for a night out, so to make that stick, I have to remain hidden.

The sound of someone knocking a little louder, echoes through my room.

"Jamie, Jamie?" Gwen calls, knocking the door a third time.

Inwardly, I apologize for not answering but I have to maintain their cover.

Hoping she'll return to her room, I heard the door knob rattle before she continues to knock and again tries the door knob.

Cringing, annoyed, I closed my eyes when I heard Gwen speaking to someone else.

"Uh, excuse me," she started to speak to the security Logan left inside the cabin.

"Uh, I'm looking for Mr. Daniels" she asked the security.

"I'm sorry ma'am, Mr. Daniels and his wife went out. I'm sure they'll be back soon. " The security guard responded politely to Gwen.

"They went out?" Gwen repeated the security words in surprise and I wish they'd go and leave me to sleep or at least try to.

"Yea ma'am and I would request that you go to your room" the security advises Gwen.

After a few minutes, I heard footsteps receding.

Finally! Since she's been here, this is the first time she reach out me and I am curious but I have to wait until later in the day.

Logan promised to message and update about their mission, but so far I've heard nothing and it's been four hours since they left home.

God, I pray my husband and his friends are safe.

Turning around on my side, my eyes closed against my will and I drifted off to a deep sleep, anxious for news from Logan.

I awoke to a loud pounding on my door and I jolted from my sleep.

Sitting upright, looking around the room, nervously.

Logan's not back and someone is pounding the door. Ignoring the pounding, I pulled put my phone and called Logans phone, when I didn't see any miss calls.

Still no answer, with his phone going to voicemail. What the hell did I do.

Searching through my contacts, I dialed Justin's numbed and he answered.

"Princess Leah?" Justin answered flustered, sounding as if he's asleep.

"Where's Logan?" I whispered quickly.

"Uh, what?" Justin asks, his voice a bit clearer now.

"Logan, Justin! Where's Logan?" I asked when the pound on the door again.

"I don't know?" Justin answered.

"What do you mean you don't know? What happened last night?" I reminded him.

There was a long pause. "Go back to sleep. I'm sure he's working out or something." Justin advises me and I immediately got concern.

I'm suddenly afraid to ask another question, but I remained on the line, hoping, Justin will explain and when he remained silent, I hung up and searched for Cameron's number, ignoring the constant pounding on my bedroom door.

As I found Cameron's number, I dialed it and gently got off the bed and walked towards the faint light at the backdoor.

"Jamie" Cameron answers almost immediately.

"Where's Logan?" I know I sound almost hysterical.

"Jamie, we encounter a small hitch. We'll be back soon" Cameron promised.

"Someone is pounding on my door and where is Logan?" I informed him and also asked about Logan's whereabouts.

"Okay, don't answer the door since you're suppose to be out with us. Logan's fine. I heading to pick him up now. give me fifteen minutes and he'll call you. Just relax but don't answer the door." Cameron advises and I'm so f****** mad, because they are not explaining anything to me.

I stood at the backdoor, not hearing a sound, I peek out to see a security from last night sitting a couple feet out, sipping something from a mug.

Okay so maybe I'm being paranoid. I returned to the bed and sat down without turning on the light, but I know that it's morning and Mrs. Stan and mom and dad will be up soon.

Twenty minutes after my call to Cameron, I heard the lock on the backdoor rattle, before it slightly swung open.

Logan stood speaking softly to someone, maybe the security, before quietly shutting the door behind him. He smiles when he see me, putting a finger to his lips when I was about to speak.

Logan went into the bathroom, stripping on his way in and I had to sit quietly and wait for him.

"What?" I whispered, when Logan came to bed.

"Don't question me because you not suppose to know anything, except that I took you away for dinner at the restaurant on our first overseas trip together." he tells me and I frown.

"You remember that trip right?" Logan asks and I nod.

Smiling, he kisses my head. "So last night into this morning, we were in Paris! That will be the only thing you need to answer about our date night. We went on my parents private jet and I surprised you." Logan explains and I just nod and agree against my better judgement.

I felt a vibe on my phone, but before I could open it, Logan took it from my hand and smiles as he reads the text.

"Did you sleep?" he asks, throwing my phone on the bed between us.

Shrugging, "a bit, yeah." I responded.

"Okay showtime!! Remember we just return from Paris!" he leaps off the bed. "Let's go!" Logan reaches for my hand and takes me to the backdoor.

Shutting the door behind us, I curled up on the couch, wrapped up in Logan's arms.

"Mom and dad are in their way. Make our trip believable!
