Chapter 22 - CHAPTER TWENTY Two

LEAH/JAMIE'S POV

Mr. Daniels came to stand in front of me, placing two hands on my shoulders.

With a compassionate expression, "Jamie, you are already the daughter we don't have and from today onwards you , your brother and your sister are our family." Mr Daniels hugged me, opening his arms out for Jess, whose always ready for a group hug.

Ligand and Jer returns laughing, "so you smart talk yourself out of getting beat up" Justin jokes.

Staring into my brother's face for any kind of reaction, about his doubts or fears from earlier but seeing none. Smiling Jer says, "Yes, he's perfect"

Logan give final orders for the Vegas trip, before we scattered for a few minutes shut eye.

After a late kickoff on the Daniels personal jet, Logan and I together with Justin, Jer and Jessy, who couldn't sit still, were on our way for my quikie wedding.

Excited, afraid, nervous, I've got it all going on in the inside. I don't know how I look on the outside, but I can't stop being happy.

I didn't leave to go back to the house because the reporters were camped outside. Jess with her bad ass attitude went with Jer and Justin, who called out two police officers to escort them and to ensure they weren't followed after leaving the house.

My only question, why didn't Logan's parents accompany us? With my parents not here it would have had extra meaning if they were here with us.

I can't ask Logan yet, because he and Justin are both engrossed in a serious conversation, by the way their faces and mouths were set.

Curling up on a large chair, I closed my eyes for a five.

Disoriented, by a the rough shaking on my shoulders, I looked confused at the person who was shaking me, Jess.

What the hell, I straightened up pushing her away. "What?" I shouted at her laughing face and twinkling eyes as it focused on my face.

"Wedding? Ring a bell?" she ask with hands still on my shoulders.

Bolting upright, looking around to realise we were no longer on the plane. "Where, what?" I asked her.

Looking around the room, "at a hotel" Jess explains smiling. "The guys are elsewhere. but you and I have this room until the ceremony" looking at her watch. "three hours to dress" she told me, walking away.

I got up, a bit unsteady, grinning like an idiot. "Your toiletries are already in the bathroom, Jess says as she walks to the front door.

Peeking at the front door with my wake up untidy self.

Noticing a trolley being pushed into the room, I bent lower to make sure it's not Logan, "is the future Mrs. Daniels here?" the man ask.

Putting my hand up, running towards the guy, "me, me, me" I shouted like an idiot.

Jess held her stomach laughing hysterically and I didn't care how I appeared to anyone right now, because I'm about to marry the first and only guy I will ever love.

Bowing before me, the waiter pulled a bunch of white roses from behind his back.

"From your today, tomorrow and forever" the waiter said, "Mr. Logan Tyler Daniels". he lifted himself with a broad smile.

" Aren't you going to sing?" Jess shouted, from behind me.

"I'm not the singer in the hotel, but what do you have in mind" the waiter asked Jess with a sexy smirk.

And I thought Logan had that down.

Ignoring me, "Tonight I celebrate my love to you" Jess says shyly.

Blushing, "no it's not necessary, I've a wedding to get ready for" I said walking back to the bedroom, I just came from. Searching, I found my handbag, taking out a $100 for the waiter, who was actually singing for Jess.

Walking back out, to hear the waiter singing the song by, Bryson and Flack.

Leaning on the wall, observing Jessy and waiter, until they were done flirting.

I walked to the trolley to see some of my favourite breakfast spread out in dishes. I took a empty plate and dished out a heavy portion for myself.

By the time they were done, I give the waiter and Jess a hug, "Thank you guys and you have a great voice" I told the waiter, putting the tip in his hand. "Thank you", I muttered going back to my room.

Two hours later, looking at the girl in white staring back at me in the mirror.

When grams found out there was no coming back from her illness, she got the next-door neighbor to assist her with Jess, Jer's and my wedding outfit and rings. Grams felt that because our parents are no longer here that she may not be here, she wanted us to have a headstart on preparations.

Jer got the best, with grams wedding set for his future wife.

"You look beautiful" Jess says, coming to stand behind me.

Meeting each other gaze in the mirror. Frowning as she observes my nervous quivering lips and most eyes.

"Jamie he really does love you. He told Jerome how much and I honestly believe gramps sent him" she giggles, with me joining in as we remember our grandfather and his antics around grams, whom he loved more than his own life.

Does Logan love me as much? I know he does, and I know something is up with the wedding happening so quick, but I also know that he propose before the journalist's reports and drama.

The hotel phone started ringing, Jess and I look at each other. Is this the moment? The moment when I turn another page in the story that is my life.

Jess, kissed me on the cheek, before answering the phone.

"Hello_ Jess sings, happily.

Listening, attentively, before a big smile crosses her lips.

" Okay" she says hanging up.

Clapping her hands in excitement, "please say yes, please say yes" Jess pleads.

"You mean to Logan at the altar" I ask,
