It was an afternoon near to become night, in a luxury personal airplane, Father Helestas was seeing the skies between window while was thinking about his past. He only was thinking about a particular day.
A younger Amylissie was in his mind, with a young himself on the ground. It was a hot day, sand was too brilliant under the hot sun light, and the flesh and the blood were moistening the ground in a temple. A grotesque scene between the two, and, inside the temple, a giant shade was eating the corpses of the place.
The temple had a statue with a monstrous bull, with horns that where pointing to the sky and a snout like a crocodile and was boiling because it had fire under its base and smoke was escaping from its eyes and mouth. Amylissie saw to Helestas and said something to him, then, Helestas back from the trance.
"Father?" questioned Riley worried.
"Oh…" exclaimed the father to her, then he said: "It isn't nothing… don't worry…
In that moment, another man appeared, it was a tall man with white hair like Helestas, older and a black acolyte uniform with a red stole on his shoulders.
"Father Helestas… a true exorcist, a… a human who knows and preach the word of our saint church… faithful follower of the Chastel Family hunting method to hunt monsters around the world... last in your type…" said the old man.
"I just do my job reverend Crieger…" responded the father.
"I know… and I know you want to kill that vampire since years ago…
"What do you mean reverend?
"I see you are obsessed with that vampire…" said Crieger and he took a sit in front of Helestas. "This hunt has cost too many resources to our church…" whispered Crieger to Helestas.
"What do you mean, Reverend?" replied Helestas to him.
An uncomfortable silence appeared between the two man. Reverend Crieger down his gaze to the floor.
"Nothing important… Father Helestas…" said Crieger to him.
"Don't worry for supplies… God will provide…" said Heletas.
At night, airplane arrived at the airport, it was a small and private airport with its own airstrip in the middle of the middle of the desert. A sister received them.
"Ah, good evening Father Helestas; Reverend Crieger…" said the sister.
"Good night sister Beriny…" saluted Father Helestas.
"Sisters Riley; Gladys and Ariny. Good night too" added the sister when she saw them and she smiled warmy.
"Hi sister Beriny" greeted and revered the girls except Ariny who saw to other side without salute. Gladys did a little poke to Ariny.
"Ouch! What are you doing?" exclaimed Ariny against Gladys.
"What am I doing? Please! Do a greet to sister Beriny. Don't be vulgar…" responded Gladys.
Girls started a catfight. Sister Beriny smiled a little nervous.
"It's okay… just left it, until they got chill…" said Riley to Beriny.
"Oh… I see…" responded Beriny.
A few moments later. Beriny conduced them to the airport main entrance and said.
"Please, come with me to the main church of SinCity, to talk about our problem… Lexalder is waiting for us…
"Lexalder? Wasn't he excommunicated?" questioned Crieger to the sister.
"Yes Reverend. But… he has information about Amylissie… important information…
"Why couldn't he kill the monster? I gave him special weapons to fight against any monsters… He couldn't fail against that vampire…" said Helestas.
While Father Helestas had told her that, Crieger began angry slow.
"Father Heletas!" exclaimed almost screaming Crieger.
An unpleasant silence covered all the presents.
"So… sorry… I… I…" said Crieger.
"It's okay Reverend Crieger… I understand you…" responded Helestas to him.
"Ah… special… weapons?" said Beriny something confused.
"It's nothing important… but, please, take me to him sister…
"Yes Father…" responded Beriny.
All arrived at a large and black limousine and boarded it. They started them trip to the church. In half road, Crieger talked with Helestas.
"Why don't we take some of her concert as a trap to kill her to finish this? I think that's will be faster, instead to lose our time and resources…
"Amylissie is an intelligent woman… don't underestimated her…
"I don't think that… she's always on concert, so, we can kill her on the middle of stage without problem in any moment…" insisted Crieger.
"Riley… please…" said Helestas.
"I tried that before… she has bought the police… I went to prison by her fault…" said Riley.
"Yeah… Recently… I tried to kill her and a couple of her that were in a bar… but they disappeared…
"I know what I'm hunt Reverend Crieger" said Helestas.
The rest f the trip was quiet without talk.
They arrived at back of church. In a room was Lexalder with a young acolyte and an old chief nun. Beriny entered first to the room and told:
"Good evening Marcus, good evening Chief nun Charlotte.
"Ah… Beriny, how are you… my young sister girl…?" said Charlotte.
"I'm okay Chief nun, but… I need to…" said Beriny.
"I need to talk with the child… alone…" interrupted Helestas suddenly.
"Oh… Father Helestas…" said something dismayed Charlotte to him. "Do you want to drink something? I think that you…"
"Please… Chief nun" said Helestas cutting.
All left the room, except Crieger and the sisters Ariny, Gladys and Riley.
"Crieger please…" said Helestas to him
"But… Father… I'm…" said Crieger.
"Revrend Crieger…" whispered Riley to him with a heartbreaking face.
Crieger watched her, and, after a little monet of silence. He noded.
"Fine…" said and he left the room.
Heletas took a sit in front of Lexalder and said almost inmediatelly.
"Okay boy… tell me… what happened there?
"I… I don't know…" responded Lexalder.
"What did you see? Tell me… tell me all, did you see a demon?" said Helestas.
"Yes… I saw a demon…"
"How was that demon? Please… tell me… come on…" insisted to him.
"It… she… she was red… she had horns above her head… and a huge pair of wings… a long tail… she killed all and my… my…" said Lexalder and he started to cry.
"What happened?" said Riley worried to him.
"Sh… she… she killed all! And… and… she took my little sister's life… she murdered my sister Miri… and then… she killed Annie… I couldn't see anything because she did a lot of smoke that fogged me almost immediately… my sword couldn't fight against her, because it turned weak with her only presence… please… please… I… I…" said Lexalder while was crying disconsolately.
The sword was on a corner of the room. Gladys saw it and she took it, then she unsheathed it. She saw the blade for a moment, it was clean and brilliant.
"This has human blood…" said Gladys to him.
"Yeah… be… because… I killed an inocent woman… she took a hostage when I tried to kill her… fuck…" said Lexalder while continuing crying.
"It's okay… it's okay…" said Helestas to him to try to give calm to him.
"Father… I know that kill another person is a deadly sin… I killed two persons by my errors, deadly sinners go to hell… I don't want it… I'm… I'm regretful… father… help me…" cried Lexalder.
"It's okay… It was an accident… I… I…" said Heleasta and he reincorporated himself. "In the name of the father, son and holy spirit… I… Father Helestas, I absolve you for your sins my son…" said the Father to him while he was doing the crucifix sign in front of him.
"Thanks Father… and sorry…" said Lexalder.
"It's okay… It's okay…" responded Helestas.
After that. Night continued, and they go to sleep to a little room back to the enormous church. Ariny and Gladys were sharing a little bed, they were too close together.
"Lexalder lied…" whispered Gladys to Ariny's ear.
"You think that?" responded Ariny.
"Yeah… I saw two kind of blood in the sword…
"Well… he killed a man in the past with that… he got confused by a vampire…
"It was a new trace of blood… of a woman…
"Okay… I understand you… but, we can't leave free that demon…" said Ariny.
"Yeah…" responded Gladys.
They were too closed, Ariny tried to keep distance from Gladys, but she got closed to her.
"Ariny… can I…" whispered softly to Ariny.
"Oh… mmh… okay… but don't make noise…" responded Ariny.
Gladys got closer to Ariny and softly she kissed her lips. She closed her eyes while was kissing Ariny for a little moment.
"Okay… good night…" said Ariny to her.
Gladys smiled a little a responded in glad:
"God night girl…
