Last time..
"Oh my heavens! Is that one of the time twins?!?!" A female screamed from a far. Which made his blood run cold merely instantly.
He completely forgot he was still at large with the city...
Now..
"I thought he was lost forever!" "Its twins, the other has to be close by!" "Why does he have elemental power?! Didnt they have some sort of blades?!" Its all what he could hear. Constant questions and yells. He let the small girl go gently. "Here..go find your parents.." he muttered softly to her. She only whined more. "I...I don't have a mama or papa.." she said. Which made his heat broke. He didn't know what to say. "Well...someday you will find a mother and father...dont give up hope little one.." he muttered to her.
He stood up, the little girl was directed by him to a nearby police officer. Knowing how dangerous it was for him to even be near one. "She's a orphan...I don't know where to take her to help her find a home.." Acronix said, already tensed enough as it is. But even with him saving the little girls life, it never stopped him from getting out of cuffs. Which he was now put into. But they was vengestone, he just realized that. He sighed quietly, he wasn't going to fight back with this.
But before he was put into a cop car, he heard a loud rumble from above. Causing him to look up and find the destiny's bounty above. "I still don't know how a 200 year old pirate ship is flying" he muttered. The anchor dropped and here came down Lloyd. "It's the green ninja", "what is he doing here?" "Probably going to show the punk whst criminals get for showing their face around here." A few people muttered. Acronix let a few tears slipped. Being called evil was one thing, but a criminal really hits hard.
"Let him go. Cyrus Borg had already cleared him off from charges." Lloyd said, which had everyone confused. "The chief already knows, if you want to ask questions, go to him." Lloyd added before the officer could speak. But he still didn't let Acronix go. "Sorry Lloyd. Until the chief tells us he is cleared, he is going to be held." The officer said before having Acronix get into the car.
"Then ill follow you there. I got time to make sure one of teammates is cleared." Lloyd said with his arms crossed, he waved off whoever was in control on the bounty, the ship itself pulled up the anchor and began its course again. Surely this was going to be a fun ride for Acronix, who just sat there with a upset look.
It didnt take more than two hours for Acronix to be fully released under paperwork. But he didn't know how to thank Lloyd enough for it. "Acronix. You do deserve a chance to prove yourself. You saved a little girl from death. Yes its a good deed, in fact its heroism. But the city still has yet to get use to the fact you don't want to hurt anyone." Lloyd explained to him as he followed him up to the borg tower. "Its just...do you think ill ever make up for what my brother did..?" Acronix asked.
Lloyd stayed silent. "No...Krux has to do that...which I'm unsure if he would even change to good...I know he is your twin and all. But I really doubt he could change." He said with a frown. Acronix just stayed silent at the fact was mentioned. "Look...we will help you...but you have to be the one leading this journey. Calling the shots. As we don't want to overstep anything with you and Krux." Lloyd explained, he gently patted Acronix's shoulder.
"If that's what I must do...then I'll accept. I just....I still hope he could change.." Acronix admitted. Lloyd frowned more, he now starting to realize just how much Acronix missed Krux. Even how oblivious he could be. He feels bad for the man and how much he was secluded from the hard truths. But he couldn't do much now as it began nightfall.
"Well...I'll have to take my leave. We will be here tomorrow so we could personally take you to the Monastery." Lloyd said, Acronix nodded in response before they said their goodbyes. Acronix quietly walked into the building, he frowned a bit before he walked to the elevator. He didn't like the many staredowns he was getting behind him. He just wanted to disappear.
But his wish wouldn't exactly come true as he pretty much now more public than he needed to be. And that they know what he looks like without the makeup. He pressed himself against the glass of the elevator as it went up, hating today's event. Though he couldn't just sit there and let someone take out their own life. He couldn't. He let out a disappointed sigh as he stared up at the metal ceiling. Faintly able to see his own reflection. Though his eyes trailed outside the glass to the sparkling city.
Rays of color lighten up the city in magnificent colors of reds and blues. Hence loving the stand out colors of yellow and white. He wished he grew up, to see the city grow and how it became today. There is still much he doesn't know about today's time. And he is willing to learn anything he could. Though he heard a familiar ding. Causing him to turn around. Gently pushing off the metal bar that surrounds the glass. He walked into the dark room.
Barely lighten with a blue light, he yawned and went to look for Cyrus. Assuming he would be at his desk, asleep per usual. But when he came to the desk, he didn't find no trace of the inventor. It made him slightly panic, as to whete could he go? He turned around, about to go back to the elevator, before he nearly came into contact with a dark figure. But he was caught in warm arms and chest. "Woah there, are you ok Nixy?" Cyrus asked.
Acronix exhaled deeply in relief. Hugging the inventor. "I thought something bad happened to you when I left." He muttered with a slight sadden tone. Cyrus rubbed his slightly droopy eyes before he smiled softly. "I'm safe here. But why didn't you go back home? Something troubling you?" Cyrus asked to the time twin, whos straighten himself up. "I just...I didn't want to go back out on the streets to my own home...in fear that I may get hurt by a mob or something." He admitted.
With no further words, Cyrus had led Acronix to a distant door. Acronix was a bit confused as to why he was being pulled to this room. But he didn't question it, he just watched his smaller lover open the door and had him walk in first. "Then you can rest the night with me. I know what had happened earlier, that was brave of you. Its the first step into showing the city that you are no threat." Borg said as he made his way to his side of the bed.
Though Acronix had something spiked in his head, how would Cyrus even get into bed by himself? "Cyrus, let me help you into bed." He said softly to him as he walked over, though Cyrus was about to politely decline, he instead was lifted up slowly by Acronix. Which made his cheeks heated up in the dimmed lighting. Acronix founded surprising how light he was, but though he wasn't sure as he was more fit than what he portrays. He gently put Cyrus on the bed.
Though his mind went deep with questions. "If- you don't mind me asking- how do you do your daily routine with changing clothes and such?" He asked a bit nervously. Cyrus smiled lightly as he picked up a remote. "Simply like this." He said as he pressed the on button, the room surely lighten up more to be able to see all around. He had a machine that was above move around for his clothing. Which this section consist of tees and plain shirts with comfy shorts and every day undergarments.
Though Acronix may of been use to changing with his brother, he was never use to be around anyone else. He made himself look away from the other man, in sheer embarrassment. Though moments later and after hearing gears stop cranking and turning, he heard a small chuckle. "Hey now, no need to be embarrassed" Cyrus said with a soft smile. Acronix looked back over to see the male now in casual clothing of a dark gray t-shirt and with the covers nearly over his legs.
"Sorry- just- not use to seeing..anyone else undressing besides for my twin" Acronix said with embarrassment clear in his tone. Cyrus founded his embarrassment adorable before he pat beside himself. Acronix took the small jester before he sat down on the bed. Creating a small dip in the bed. Though he took off his boots before even properly putting his legs on the bed. He felt so shy about this. He didn't know how his brother was to ever do this.
Then to guess, his brother did make a oath to not date anyone again. "Is..it ok I can...take my shirt off..?" He asked quietly. Though unexpectedly receiving a approval. "If you're uncomfortable with anything, just let me know. You don't have to be afraid. But I dont want to push you." Cyrus informed, which helped calmed a few of his jumpy nerves. Acronix smiled lightly before he nodded gently. He took off his long sleeved shirt and neatly folded it and put it ontop of his boots.
Though he was nicely toned in the chest, and he was pratically use to a fine body, Cyrus had to take a moment to see if what he was seeing was real. Expecting from a slim figure like Acronix's, he never expected him to have some sort of fit chest. Then again he never really had been that close. But besides that, he turned off the lamp beside him so he could get more comfortable down into his bed sheets. Acronix took a moment before he actually got settled down, taking his hair down and putting the hairtie on his shirt.
Though being a sneaky snake, he had pulled Cyrus close to him out of sudden instinct. He didn't know where it came from, but he liked it. Cyrus didn't mind the cuddle, as he founded him to be warm. Only the moon shun on them, and Acronix had helped Cyrus put away his glasses. He gently kissed Cyrus on the head, which in return was a small, yet tired, giggle. "Goodnight" was all they said to each other before they actually fallen asleep.
