Chereads / Orbisomn (Ealsomn Estnin Ase Nitua) / Chapter 24 - Chapter 19

Chapter 24 - Chapter 19

"Before we start, let's gather some food first and something to drink." Loui suggested.

"Yeah you're right." Dafydd agreed.

"Let's go at Verus' garden!" Neriah said with a lot of enthusiasm as she lead us to Verus' garden.

"They're usually like that, I apologize." Verus walked beside me.

"It's alright. My friends are like that as well, I miss them though." I said. I wonder what's their situation right now. I'm sure that they're worried, but I have no idea how to contact them because cellphone doesn't work in this world.

After thinking for a few seconds, a sudden idea popped out of my mind that makes me stopped walking.

"What's wrong, Lucy?" Verus asked me. Neriah, Dafydd and Loui looked back at us.

"You said this magic device can materialize everything that I imagine, right?" I asked.

"Yes. I'm pretty sure that's how it works." Loui replied.

I closed my eyes and tried imagining a cellular tower rising on the ground.

"Hey, the bracelet is glowing. What are you thinking, Lucy?" Neriah asked me with curiosity.

"H-hey. I can hear the ground shaking, what the hell is that?" Loui panicked.

"Yes, I can also feel it vibrating." Verus agreed.

"What are you doing? Run!" Neriah shouted.

The tower suddenly rose from the ground, "Sorry! I didn't knew it will rise from where we're standing!" I said while running because we got us into trouble.

"What the hell is that, Lucy?!" Daffyd shouted.

I grabbed my phone and checked if it works.

"Did it work? Did it work? Please tell me it worked." I said while looking at my phone.

"What is that?" Neriah looked at my phone as well.

"It works!" I shouted with excitement.

The four of them just looked at me with confusion, so I calmed myself a bit.

"I don't know how the cellular tower worked in this world, but this is an Ingeum technology. I can contact my friends with this." I explained to them what's happening.

"Contact? That means we can also asked if Illia was there?" Verus asked.

"Yes. We can." I said.

I tried contacting Yui, after lots of ringing, she finally answered.

"H-hello?" Yui asked on the other line.

"YUI!" I shouted with full of excitement.

"Lucy, is that you?" Yui asked.

"Yes, this is me! Wait, I'll put the speaker on." I said and put the speaker on.

"Okay, me too." Yui said.

My four companion's faces looked amazed and shocked because they heard a voice from my phone.

"W-what is that? There's a voice coming out." Neriah inspected my phone.

I laughed a little, "Yes, yes. That's how it works." I said.

"Are you with someone, Lucy?" I heard Friela's voice this time.

"Yes, I am with some friends." I replied.

"Where the hell are you?! You suddenly disappeared, you know?" Yui asked me with full of concern.

"I am so sorry. To be honest it's hard to explain, but right now I am in Orbisomn. The world you're talking about." I explained.

"Orbisomn?! So you're really there in my world?" I heard someone talked. Is that—

"Princess!" Verus shouted.

"Verus? Is that you?" Illia asked on the other line.

"Yes, this is me. How are you there?" Verus asked.

"I'm totally fine here. Lucy's friends are kind, and I am eating a lot of food!" She happily explained.

Verus sighed.

"Well atleast she's safe there for now, right?" Dafydd whispered at Verus and tapped his shoulder.

"I'm so glad that I got to hear from you Lucy. We've been worried, you know?" Friela said.

"Me too, Friela. I really wanted to go back there, but I don't know how." I said.

"You know, I'm really curious as to why they need to go to each other's world. What's wrong?" Neriah whispered to them.

"You're really gonna asks us?" Daffyd sarcastically asked.

"That's why we're going to get out of this mountain to find out, right?" Verus whispered to them.

"Try your best to find out how are we going to go back to our own world, Lucy. I am trying my best here, but I feel like the answer is there somewhere in Orbisomn." Illia talked to me.

"Somewhere here in Orbisomn? What do you mean, Illia?" I asked and looked at Verus, Neriah, Daffyd and Loui.

They all shrugged.

"I felt it when we switched places. I felt a big disturbance of magic in my world. When I woke up, I can still faintly feel it. Find where that disturbance of magic is coming from." she explained.

"I did felt that, too." Verus said.

"Oh, the one that you're asking me?" Dafydd asked.

"Yes." Verus replied.

"She can faintly felt it even if she was teleported from another world?" Neriah whispered to us.

"Maybe because a some kind of spell or magic was the reason why they switched." Loui whispered to Neriah.

"Maybe a disturbance was created because there might be a portal somewhere in Orbisomn. Portal to my world that was here in your world." I said.

"Yes, it is possible. I will try my best to find a clue in your hwkqoznma—" the signal suddenly went out.

"What's happening?" Verus asked.

"I don't know. The signal went out." I looked at the tower, it seems fine though.

"Is there any possibility that we can contact them again?" Dafydd asked.

I looked at my phone, "I am not certainly sure." I said.

I tried contacting them again, but the phone forcely shut itself down.

The bracelet on my hand suddenly emits a light. "Why is it lighting up?" I asked.

"I don't know." Neriah said.

I quickly removed the phone on my hand because it's overheating.

"Run! It'll explode!" I said, but they didn't run.

"Nevre!" Loui motioned his fingers, and a gust of wind went out of his hand. The phone exploded in the air, and the cellular tower sank in the ground.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Did you guys felt that?" Verus asked.

"I did." Loui replied.

Neriah, Daffyd, and I didn't knew what was happening.

"Felt what?" Neriah asked.

"Loads of magic power releases before Lucy's device exploded." Verus said.

"It's like it forced the tower to sank back on the ground." Loui added.

We all went silent.

"Let's just go to the garden to gather fruits so we can train before departing for tomorrow." Dafydd broke the silence and started walking.

They nodded and followed him. I sighed and started walking as well. I looked back at the tower and my broken phone.

Now I can't contact them, what am I supposed to do? Maybe I'll try creating another phone from this device.

"Lucy? Let's go." Verus said as he walk in front of me.

"Oh, yes. Alright." I said and followed them.

They are so excited to see Verus' garden. I laughed because Neriah's saliva dripped.

"You're so gross Neriah!" Loui shouted.

"I miss Verus' fruits." Her eyes became teary.

"Why? Aren't you with Verus here in this mountain?" I asked.

"We are, but we have different jobs in order to keep our hiding place safe. Even though the mountain is closed, we still cannot let an enemy attacked us." Neriah started picking random fruits, "Plus, a lot of our armies created a small village near the foot of the mountain. We were staying there because it's nearer compare to the palace." Neriah explained.

"Only Loui and Verus is there in the palace to keep the palace in good place." Daffyd added.

Loui just nodded.

"Did this magic device came from that small village?" I asked.

"Yes. There is an old captain there who specialize on making weapons for our troops. We paid him to make that because he said he needed good materials. That one device  costs us a lot of harpa. A million harpa could create almost two hundred weapons." Daffyd said.

"Sorry for that. If I could just pay with my money." I said.

Loui laughed, "It's alright. Thanks to you, we can go back to our homeland after so many years. Consider that as a thank you gift." he said.

"Can't you just go in your mainland, I think you can return here after visiting your lands." I said.

Neriah, Loui, and Daffyd looked at each other.

"To tell you honestly, we've been stuck here for twenty one years. This forest is rich with magic, that's why we can do a lot of stuff. We can atleast ease our hunger." Neriah said.

"But, since we entered this mountain, the magic of the mountain itself caged us here for so many years." Dafydd added.

"What do you mean caged you?" I asked.

"A powerful and invisible wall was created." Loui butted in, "Even if we have a lot of magic users, we cannot destroy the invisible wall that was there." He added.

"If there's an invisible wall in there, how are we going to travel?" I asked.

"That's actually our question." Neriah said.

"And reason why we also wanted to see you." Loui added.

"What do you mean?" I was confused, what question does Neriah pertaining to?

"The moment we received that the princess was gone, and you suddenly popped out of nowhere, the invisible wall was gone." Neriah said.

"What? Why?" I asked her.

"We do not know. We're also wondering why it was gone, but at the same time we have to be aware of what might happen. Since the barrier is gone, a lot of potential enemy can come in." Neriah answered.

"That's true. That's why the soldiers had to visit and check the whole forest from daylight to night time in order to maintain the peace inside this forest." Loui answered.

"So that's what happening below the mountain." I uttered.

"Yes." Loui nodded.

"You guys talked a lot, you didn't helped me pick fruits." Verus said while holding a bowl made from soil.

"Sorry, brother. Let me carry those." Neriah get one of the bowl.

I created a cart out of my magic device and motioned them to put all the fruits in there.

"Wow, is this some material that came from your world?" Daffyd asked.

"Yes. It's called a cart." I said.

Loui pushed the cart as we went back to the palace.

---

"I can only materialize something from my imagination, right?" I asked them when we got back.

"Yes." Daffyd replied.

"So I can't make something like boosters, then." I sighed with disappointment.

"Boosters?" Verus asked.

"Yes, like movement speed, or attack speed." I said while imagining good enhancer from a video game.

They were confused. "Oh yes, you guys use magic. Don't mind me." I replied and fixed my stuff to ready myself for training. The real battle begins!
