"How are we going to fight? I'm afraid Lucy might get hurt." Neriah said with concern on her voice.
"Yeah. We're not on Illia's level of magic, but our ranks are in second right now." Loui added.
"Are you guys underestimating me?" I asked while raising my eyebrows.
"No, we're not. It's just that we have a total different ability." Daffyd said.
"I understand your point, but we can atleast try, right?" I smiled and asked.
I'm confident with my ability. Especially when I've had a lot of martial art experiences. I even do my own stunts. They all sighed.
"It's alright. We have a good healer in the palace in case something bad happened." Verus explained.
"If that's the case, then let's start?" Neriah said.
I started imagining that I was holding a sword, and it appeared on my right hand, "Who'll be first?" I asked.
"Let me!" Loui volunteered, "No hate feelings, okay?" He asked me.
"Same as well." I said.
He's an air user, this'll be hard since the air here in this world is lighter. I imagined a heavy chain on my feet, and it appeared.
"Nevrea circo riani turnesim!" he shouted and he was surrounded with a strong wind.
"So this is the difference you're talking about, huh?" I whispered to myself. My blood is boiling with excitement. I doubled the weight of the chain and started walking towards him while slashing all the flying debris with my sword.
"Shield!" I shouted. A shield came out of my left hand. I imagined it to be five times heavier than it used to be. I removed the sword and the chain on my feet to swing the shield.
"H-how can you swing a shield on my Wind Wall?" Loui asked.
Even Neriah and Daffyd are shocked.
"I can't even go near Loui when he used that wall." Daffyd said in a distant.
Loui started casting a more powerful wind around him, so I added weight on my shield.
"Uh-uh. Too slow. Shield Cannon!" I threw the shield on Loui's direction, "Heavy chain!" I shouted.
He didn't saw the shield coming because he was casting another magic.
"Loui!" Neriah ran when she saw Loui blasted in the air. His air will blast me out of my balance if I didn't cast the chain around my feet sooner.
"Wow. I really did underestimated you." Loui said while wiping dirt on his face.
"How did you do that?" Verus asked.
"Simple. Air cannot tumble you down when you're heavier and stronger. I used a heavy shield, because it has two different width. The side of the shield can go against the current of the wind, while the front can go along with the current. I've been in a lot of training where I go against the air or water current. Heavier shield can protect me from tumbling down, and with stronger push and timing while the shield is spinning, it will hit the target, and it can even withstand the strong wind." I explained.
"I wish I can imagine what you're saying." Daffyd said.
I laughed a bit.
"Anyway, that's quite impressive." Verus commented.
"I wanna try fighting with her." Neriah said.
I saw her used magic once, she use tusuiem. Water. What will she gonna do?
"Tusuiem, nue, turnesim!" Neriah shouted and a lot of sharp icicle surrounded her.
"Whoa, whoa, are you joking Neriah?" Loui said.
"No, I don't want to underestimate her. Let's see how you can withstand a raining icicle." Neriah smiled at me.
I thought for a while, fire cannot easily melt that unless it's more than a thousand degree.
"Kreosi." She said and the sharp icicle rain down on me.
Guess I have no choice.
"Angel's Wings." I whispered and flew faster to dodge every icicle that's raining.
"T-that's, how?" Daffyd asked.
"Isn't that an air magic?" Verus asked Loui.
"I don't know." Loui exclaimed.
Even Neriah was shocked because I flew and dodge the raining icicle quickly. I turned the feathers of my wings into a lot of sharp knives.
"I can't mimic a lot of sharp ice, but I can imagine a lot of knives. Can you withstand your own technique, Neriah?" I asked and smiled at her as well.
I let the knives flew with the same speed as a bullet. She created a thick wall of ice around her.
"Not bad." I commented. I created more knives and flew it into her thick wall. Now, with the same speed of a rifle bullet. After few seconds, we heard the wall cracked.
"Stop, stop, stop! I surrender! Don't kill me!" Neriah said.
I laughed. "Of course I won't kill you." I motioned my hands to make the knives disappeared.
Neriah nullified her magic and go to where Verus, Daffyd and Loui are. I followed her as well. "Hey, Lucy. How did you fly?" She asked.
"Yeah. I thought only Nevrean can fly? Except for Algorian when they transform, of course." Verus said.
"Oh, this?" I asked and pointed at my wings.
"In my world, there's a biblical creature called angels. They said that they are the messenger of God. A lot of artist created a drawing of angel with this kind of wings, so I imagined it and borrow the concept." I explained.
"I hate your knowledge." Loui jokingly said.
"You can control the wings even if you do not know how to fly?" Daffyd asked.
"Uh, nope. I forgot to tell you guys that I am an actress. My specialty is action genre. I do a lot of stunts, and that includes flying, jumping, and fighting scenes." I explained.
"But that don't explain how you can threw me a freaking heavy shield with a lot of force." Loui said with exaggeration.
"It's because I am lifting heavy gym equipments. I'm used to lifting heavy objects, because I do mixed martial arts. We have to train ourselves into that kind of situation." I explained, but looking at their faces I knew that they didn't understand my explanation.
"Anyways, the sun is already setting down. We should get some woods for us to have a nice bath." Verus said.
"But I haven't trained with you and Daffyd, yet. I want to try fighting with earth and fire user as well." I said.
"Let's do it some other time. We have to prepare for tomorrow because we will leave early in the morning. Plus, look at what you did to Neriah and Loui." Verus said and looked at them, "If we can't handle you and we were badly wounded, we'll cancel the journey. Do you want that to happen?" He asked.
"Of course I don't want it to be cancelled. Okay, I understand." I said.
"Let's pack up and grab some dried woods for bath." Verus said.
"Let's do it, let's do it!" Neriah happily obliged.
I sighed and walked with them.
"Uhh, Lucy?" Daffyd suddenly called me.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I suggest you minimize the use of that magic device." He spouted out of nowhere.
"Why? It's actually a good device though. I didn't expect it to be this good." I asked.
"Actually, that device is sucking the magic particles in the air to produce and materialize the thing that's on your mind." Daffyd looked at the woods and started grabbing some of dried branches, "Its creation is not limited to one, but if it continually sucks and release magic particles at the same time it might get broken." He explained.
"Oh, so it's still vulnerable and fragile. That's too bad, I guess." I conclude.
"Yes, it is. So be mindful especially if you'll do that wings while a lot of knives flying again. Let it rest for atleast some time." He said.
"Yes. I understand. Thank you for reminding me." I said. I guess a device will be a device whether I am in my world or in another world. They have their own limitation.
We took a bathe after a long day, ate dinner, and sleep early to gather energy because we'll have our adventure after a week of staying here in this world. Finally!
