It took fifteen more minutes before the lawyer arrived. She apologised for being late after seeing the impatient look on the detective's face. She guessed that these police men were always eager to get someone in jail and get over with it.
She recognised this popular detective who was famous for destroying the lives of many big and reputable men. He always seemed to find a way to get around cases. She nodded in realisation and shook hands with the two officers.
"I need to speak with my client alone before you start the interrogation." She peeked through the one way mirror and turned to the officers with a stoic expression.
"You can talk but we can't deactivate the camera, it's a very crucial piece." Jason pointed out.
"Then how can that be considered 'private'?" she raised an eyebrow at him.
Bryan touched Jason lightly on the shoulder and sighed, "We'll take down the camera and any recording device."
