"Paulo Ernest," Remi put down the files on the tables. "These are the things you need to know about Tracy's case."
The other lawyer took the files and casually flipped through them with an interested look. "You really went out of your way to do this for her right?"
Remi shrugged and took his pen from the table, "I want your help in proving her innocent."
Paulo looked at him with an amused expression, "what makes you so sure that she's innocent?"
Remi raised an eyebrow at him and tapped the table with his pen, "because I know that she isn't capable of such things. The only crime she committed was marrying my friend. She didn't have a choice and I don't support her actions but ten counts?"
Paulo nodded in understanding and then said, "There isn't much I can do here, friend. Bail's been denied, she faces charges over several counts of financial crimes and gross misconduct and these aren't just baseless claims, every charge came with its own evidence."
