The teens glance at one another puzzled, as they follow the guards to the generals' tent. Inside there are four generals who are arguing amongst themselves. They stop a minute or two after the guards have led the teens inside.
"Ahem, these kids are here to speak to you sirs. They say they are from some village we've been ...attacking?" The generals glance at each other like they understand.
"Yes, yes, go away." The first one says. He has a long curly mustache and dark eyes.
The next general to speak up is short and portly. His voice a little too deep, "a village you say?"
The third general, who is too tall for his own good, speaks before the teens can answer, "that's what the guard said isn't it? Do you listen to anyone besides yourself?"
The final general is a strong looking man, much younger than the others, his voice high and squeaky. He yells, "shut up already and hear the kids out!"
Silence falls over the tent. Finally Pars speaks up, "why you bozos keep attackin' our village?"
Rose and Mary slap their palms to their faces. Tim flexes like he is getting ready for a fight, Lee sees this and lowers himself as if he is preparing to lunge at the tall general. Pars just stands there, with a blank look on her face, waiting for a reply.
The generals all look at one another intensely. The teens can't tell if they are trying to decide to tell them, or trying to figure out what to tell them. Finally the squeaky general speaks, "we...don't remember."
