Cyrus chuckled, his demeanor relaxed. "I might have to start charging him for all the 'dad jokes' he keeps asking for," he teased.
As they drove away from the daycare, the streets bustling with morning traffic, Esther leaned back in her seat, a smile gracing her lips. "So, what's on the agenda today?" she asked, glancing at Cyrus, who seemed deep in thought.
"Well," he said, pulling onto a quieter street, "I was thinking we could run some errands. The grocery store needs a visit, and I thought we could pick up some things for dinner." He paused, a playful glint in his eye. "Maybe we can experiment with a new recipe together? Something fun?"
Esther laughed, imagining the two of them in the kitchen, flour everywhere and Cyrus attempting to impress her with his culinary skills. "I'm all for that! What do you have in mind?"
"How about we try making homemade pizza? We can add all our favorite toppings, and it'll be a blast!" he suggested enthusiastically.
