"Princess... that was a type of... crisis apparition." Alex said softly, not taking his eyes off me.
"A WHAT?!"
"We will explain after we make sure nothing is still here." Jason said after Alex looked at him. He nodded and stood over me, and I closed my eyes.
I felt a weird tingly feeling and then it disappeared.
"She's clear, Sir. Jason." Alex said.
I sat up, I was ready to hear what in the world just happened and why.
"Okay, start explaining, before I get sick again. Please." I said rubbing my stomach.
"So that was someone taking over Kyle's body to send... you, specifically, a message or warning."
"Uhh. Okay, and WHO exactly sent that message? Will Kyle remember doing that?" I asked trying not to sound too worried.
"Well... no, he will not remember. He will be okay. That... is the tricky thing, we do not know who exactly sent it." Jason said looking at Alex concerned.
"But we will do everything we can to figure out who. I just don't see the connections." Jason said standing, shaking his head.
"What connections?" I asked watching him pace back and forth.
"What does you giving blood to Julie's son have anything to do with your mother? Unless there is some enemy Richard has and doesn't know about? We need to see Richard and Julie... right away." Jason said looking at me.
I nodded.
"I will be right back my love." Jason said as he kissed my forehead and left the room.
I looked at Alex who was standing up and getting his stuff together.
"Alex?" I asked quietly.
"Yes Princess?" He stopped and looked at me.
"Should... I be worried?" I inquired rubbing my hands together anxiously at this point. My mind is rolling and won't stop.
Alex didn't say anything at first, which worried me.
"I wouldn't go as far as that but, I would be alert. I do not know the connections, just as Jason said. It just does not make sense." He said shaking his head.
"Well Mark is not in a position to do this, so who else would do this? Is there ANYONE else that is out there that would not want him to heal?" I asked curiously and watched as he sat down in the chair thinking.
Jason came back in the room, "They are on their way."
I raised my eyebrows, "They are? That was fast. How did you get them to come so late?"
He shrugged his shoulders and I saw this hidden smirk, "I told Richard something happened to you and I heard Julie say they are leaving. They have grown... very fond of you, my love." He emphasized on the word 'fond'.
I felt myself smile and feel special. They have grown on me too.
"So, I just asked Alex this, is there anyone that would not want her son to heal?" I asked Jason as he accompanied me on the bed.
"Not that I can think of. But we can ask these questions when they arrive." Jason said as he pulled me in, so my head was on his chest.
"I'm just glad you're okay."
I snuggled into him in response. I was thankful for his concern.
There was a knock at the door and Alex opened it, "Sir. Jason, your visitors are almost here." The maiden said as she bowed and left.
Jason stood and thanked Alex as he left the room. "Why don't you get some rest Alexander? You have been very helpful lately and deserve some rest."
Alexander nodded, "Rest would be lovely. Thank you, I will see you both in the morning. If you need me, please do not hesitate. I do not mind helping." Alex said as he bowed and walked away. Jason shut the door and looked at me.
"I am so sorry this is all happening to you..." He said softly with this heart- breaking expression.
"We will get through it, we always do." I said smiling at him.
"Let's go downstairs." He said while putting his robe on and grabbing mine for me.
We headed downstairs and into a different room this time, it was a rather... comfy room. It reminded me of a living room in a show case, perfectly set up with the furniture. There was a small bar area, a couch that was an 'L' shape, and a loveseat, there was also a coffee table and a big screen tv. I did notice there was no regular table. He has a table pretty much in every room, with at least four chairs. There was a fire place under the tv, and a basket next to it filled with blankets. There were three skylights on the far side of the room. You could see the stars and the moon, it was so calming. There was one wall filled with books, and next to it was a little cart with other books on it and bookmarks. I think I found my new favorite room.
I walked over to the basket and grabbed a blanket, then headed to the loveseat. I was still tired, but I needed to figure out this whole deal with the Apparition thing.
Jason came over to me with a cup of warm tea and sat down next to me. A few minutes go by and we hear a knock on the door. It was Richard and Julie.
I stood up and so did Jason, we greeted them and they sat on the other couch opposite of us.
"So what's going on Princess?" Richard asked before he sipped his tea.
I looked at Jason and he started to tell them what happened.
"Is there anyone who is upset with you or mad? Is there some powerful enemy you have? I just don't see why someone would want me to stop helping someone get better who is really ill." I interjected.
Richard and Julie glanced at each other for a moment and then looked at me. I got this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach when they looked at me. I could tell from their expressions, I was not going to like what they have to say.
"Isabelle..." Richard started to say but stopped.
"Yes..." I said softly, gripping my cup a little harder than I probably should.
"I will start with my son's name, his name is Nicholas. We told you he was 17 years-old, but that is in your worlds time. Here, our time moves much faster so he is actually 28 years-old. My dear... Richard was suppose to be your... soul mate.." Julie said and started to get quieter when she said the last few words.
I felt Jason tense beside me and I felt sick.
