Paige's heart pounded she tried to look as natural as she could as she rushed to the bathroom. It's empty thankfully. She went to the sink and splashed her hands and face lightly with water to calm herself.
Paige looked up into the mirror and reminded herself that she was safe and with Jaxson. He wouldn't let any harm come to her she hoped that he wouldn't want her me anymore. Paige had always hoped that he would find his mate and come to forget about her. She has run and changed Cities many times for over a year now hiding from him and now she is face to face with him once again.
Should she run again, leave here, leave Jaxson, cupcake and Axel. She didn't think she could though. Maybe if she just makes up an excuse and tells Jaxson that she had to go home.
