Bliperilla roamed the vast desert between the tunnels and the ocean whistling an adventurer's tune. "La Da Da-Da Daaa, Adventurers song 🎶"
No burdens other than the sack on her back. "I carry only days worth of clothes 🎶"
She was as free as a falling leaf. "Free free free feeling like a little kid 🎶"
It had been all her life she had wanted to get away. "Now I'm walking after all this time, still walking! 🎶"
She finally reached the docks with a song in her heart and a beat on the tips of her toes. "Where are the pirates?"
The dock workers looked around at her brashness. No dock would be proud to dock pirates but to her luck, one of the only Pirates that any dock welcomes with open arms was there.
"Over here!" A man with a cloak and golden tassels on his shoulders called out. He was heavily bearded and had a devil may care grin on his face saying he was ready to fight. She rushed over to him and slid to her knees.
"Oh, rough looking pirate let me join you're adventurous crew of pirates and let us sail the ocean until we are attacked by a fleet of Peace Corps. Ships and we go down with the ship."
"Well, that sounds nice but I'm not the captain. I lost a bet, so I have to wear this flashy coat until we see a mermaid."
"Mermaid!" Bliperilla's eyes gleamed. "How long have you been wearing it?
"About a week. I got it from the last guy who was wearing it waiting to see a mermaid." The man shrugged. "He wore it for 2 years. Kept seeing mermen. Shit luck, right? The captain is on the ship in the captains quarters. Can't miss it. You can go aboard the ship and…"
Bliperilla rushed past him and up the ramp lodged in the dock. The ship was old and battered from many long and ferocious battles. "The ship is so battered and downtrodden from so many adventures." She spotted one of the crew. "Where is your captain I will be your new crew mate. I promise to clean the deck and not eat all the food just tell me where he is."
"Back there." The guy chucked a thumb up to the captains quarters sign.
Bliperilla burst through the doors to find a cute little girl with long straight blonde hair. "Who the hell do you think you are, busting into the captains quarters without even knocking!"
"It's me, Bliperilla."
"Who?"
"You're new crewmate."
"Where'd we get you from?" The Captain squeezed her little eyebrows together and puffed up her lips trying to remember.
Bliperilla squealed. "What a cute face."
The Captain glowed a cutlass. "Who are you calling cute! I'm Captain Roberta of the Robs Bend Pirates!" She jumped and swung at Bliperilla and Bliperilla Glowed two armored gauntlets blocking the slice.
Roberta bounced back and her eyes lit up. "So cool. Don't call me cute. Will you join my crew? Don't call me cute. We just lost a man and have an opening. Don't call me cute. You can take their bed."
"That's so cute of you."
"Didn't I just say, wait. You know what don't say cute around me at all!"
"Okay I won't say cute." Bliperilla looked around and the entire room was pink and black. The pillows were black, and the covers were pink. The black desk had a pink chair in front of it. The walls were black, and the floor was pink." I definitely won't say that this room is cute. Nope I won't. Won't say the word cute around you at all."
"You just said it three times."
"I said what?"
"You said cute right after I told you not to."
"Hey, don't say the word cute, our Captain doesn't like it."
"You said it three times. Now four times."
"Captain I would never say the word cute. You forbade me to use the word cute in your presence so I would never say anything is cute. Or that you are cute for having such a cute room. Or comment on how cute your bedspread is or how cute the dolls are on your cute bed. I will never say cute around you. Nope never say cute."
"Get out." Captain Roberta said.
