Drake frowned the moment he opened his eyes and saw Raynisha having her sword on Ardel's body.
"To think you hated the wrong person."
His reflection spoke beside him.
"She saved your life but you hated her and her family because of the death of your brother who actually caused all of this."
Drake didn't speak and simply watched the scene in front of him.
"Yes, you can see here so clearly the pained look in her face. But what did you repay her? Nothing but hatred. Even going so far as hurting your friend and her dear younger sister because of your hatred."
Drake lowered his eyes.
"Ah how sad, your brother whom you loved so much turned out to be the enemy all along. The one who caused all of you the grieve you experienced. The one who actually caused you to fall apart from your friends even from your beloved."
The scene changed to the times that Willow had been trying to help him out. Trying to give him some company.
Things he ignored and actually regretted every single time he remembers.
But as these scenes played in front of him, Drake simply watched.
"You ignored her and even left her to get hurt when she finally found a new love. Be honest, you were actually jealous and was secretly happy when he died, weren't you?"
Drake watched the scene of Willow crying for Raizen's death.
"Look at that, you seemed to be silently celebrating."
His reflection kept laughing as he pointed at the scene in front of them.
"You're right," Drake spoke.
The reflection turned to him but he frowned when he saw that there are no changes with Drake.
The swirling darkness around him remained the same as a while ago. As if it was simply the proof that he had darkness inside him.
"I was jealous. I had a part of me that was relieved he was gone."
Drake turned to his reflection, "That's my ugliness. That is our ugliness. That is who we are. Indeed I hated her, I hated her family without knowing what was the truth. But what can I do, that is just who I am. Having emotions is just like that. I get mad, I hate, we get sad, we get jealous and we feel delight over the misfortune of others. But what can we do? We are not perfect, we are simply as wretched as what Saphira had said. Each of us are selfish people. And I accept that..."
He created a sharp earth spike, "Because I will never be the person I am today if not for all those flaws as well. I can never be strong, nor can I ever accept others."
He threw this spike towards his reflection, "So no matter what. I will never turn back from all of this. Because this is me, all of it is me."
The reflection was too stunned to even react until it disappears.
Drake sighed before looking up at the darkness in front of him.
Meanwhile, Willow was faced with all the times she couldn't do anything for the hurting Drake.
The times she couldn't reach him.
"You are nothing but a weakling. What do you expect? He would never heal because of your help."
Tears flow down her eyes as she looked at the times she could only watch Drake breakdown over and over again.
"That is why you chose another love."
The scene changed to her interactions with Raizen.
The times she spent with him, happily enjoying a normal life in Hydra Kingdom.
Her hand reached out to that scene until it changed to the moments where Raizen became their enemy and died by their hands.
She covered her eyes and cried even more.
"You gave him hope that you will return his love but look at you so easily moving forward and getting happy with Drake."
Her reflection laughed watching her cry.
"You are weak, you can't do anything right. You can never save anyone. You always needed someone to support you but then what will you do now that you are alone?"
Willow broke down as she cried more and more. The darkness around her swirled more violently.
"Just accept it, you are nothing but a burden to all of them."
The reflection triumphantly looked down at the crying Willow waiting for her to be completely engulfed by the darkness.
'Don't worry about being weak. No one is strong on their own, each of us have our own weakness. But that does not define what we are capable of.'
As she cried, Drake's words reverberated in her mind.
She had always thought of herself as nothing but a weak woman.
She can command the plants but what of it? The plants will burn. The plants will be buried. The plants will be cut. The plants will drown.
They were weak and that was what she had always felt.
Especially when she became together with Drake and she felt that she was really just like the plants, weak in so many ways. Even her heart was weak to the point it could fall in love as fast as it could fell out of love.
But Drake didn't persuade her to not think that way, instead he spoke of weaknesses as not their everything.
That she is not weak in everything, there are just things she couldn't do.
"You are right," she spoke as the darkness swirling around her slowly calmed down.
"I have so many weaknesses. I have so many faults but they accepted me for it all."
She looked up from her kneeling position.
The reflection frowned at her.
"So why can't I accept myself as well? Why can't I accept all of myself? My faults? My weakness? My strength? My capabilities? All of them, why can't I accept them as well?"
She slowly stood up as plants emerged from where they were standing.
"This is who I am. The person Raizen loved, the person my friends cherished, the person Saphira forgave over and over again despite showing hatred even though I had no right. And the person that Drake loved from the get go. All of it, they accepted it. So..."
She waved her hand forward, "I will do just that. I will love myself for everything that I am."
The plants attacked the reflection who was indignant by the answer that she found.
With it gone, Willow looked up at the darkness and smiled with tears in her eyes.
