"Okay, now that that's out of the way," Saphira clapped her hands.
"Surround me, you seven."
Felix pointed at himself, "Me, too?"
"Yes, you two. Why?"
"But mythological beasts are-"
"That was with the weapons, phoenix can't change to its human form as of the moment but that doesn't mean he is limited to everything."
Then she pointed towards the beasts, "Your phoenix is already in there."
"Oh," Felix turned to look at phoenix subconsciously.
"Could it be you though because he was a beast that it was normal? You are the host, isn't it normal as well? Plus weren't you the one handling my mana fire all this time when we were creating the barriers?"
"I just subconsciously…" he chuckled.
He subconsciously set his mind that he can never be on par with the rest of them because they all have the mythological beasts and somehow this is their destiny.
"Just get here, you have controlled my mana all this time, I think we have quite some synergy already."
After she finished her words, everyone realized a crucial matter about the past.
"Saphira…" Willow spoke.
"Hmmm?"
"Raynisha controlled you through the mana threads in order for you to kill her?"
Saphira blinked, she didn't expect that they would actually ask of it at this moment.
"Well, I suppose that is a yes."
"Then while you were explaining the puppeteer and the strings, the reason you were so acquainted with such information was because of that?" Stormie asked this time.
"Well, guys it was true that I learned it through experience. But isn't that the normal thing? We learn through our life experiences? Painful or not, everything is the same you will learn something whether you want it or not."
"Oh…"
They were seeing her again with much more respect and appreciation.
Most of the time, they'd choose to stay away from all painful things but she kept facing them head on. Learning as much as she can, no matter how many tears she was to shed.
Hunter placed his hand on top of her head and smiled gently at her before bending over and giving her a soft kiss on her temple.
"I can really never compare."
It wasn't only the rest but she herself was shock.
There was warmth and gentleness, though even if one were to look at their relationship, this should be normal. But both of them weren't as showy as this.
They do from time to time but that's all.
Yet this time, he showed so much gentleness, much more than what he had shown in the past.
Saphira turned to him and he simply smiled.
She smiled back and the rest acted that it was cringe for them in a teasing manner.
"Okay, enough. Let's get to work."
The seven of them moved and stood in a circle around her.
"Bring out your mana fire."
After they all did, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
She used the little specs of light on her hands alone a while ago.
This time she controlled them to move all over her body before allowing them to go out of her body.
One… Two… Three…
Soon hundreds of them appeared surrounding her whole body, and with a will, she made them combine and only seven bigger specs were left.
These seven slowly moved towards the direction of the rest and a thin line was connecting it to her.
These specs attached itself to the mana fire and slowly buried within it.
Hunter nodded at the seven, he was instructing them to slowly take back their mana fire.
Saphira was concentrating that she left it to them to judge when to take it in.
She felt her mana rapidly moving in these seven directions and her strength leaving her.
As compared to Hunter who was alone, she doing it with the seven of them.
The seven of them felt this foreign mana expanding within their bodies.
The pain was there but it was not as unbearable as they thought at the beginning.
They then did what hunter did first, they slowly pulled it back in while also letting it integrate itself to their body and their magical power.
It was towards the final stage that Saphira felt a strong resonance towards their abilities.
"If I consider Vermilion Bird as the light ability beast at this moment and consider the rest as the seven major abilities, then that resonance could be…"
"What's wrong?" Hunter asked when after everything, she was suddenly muttering to herself.
"I think I found another way," she looked up, her eye glistened at the joyful thought she just had.
"What do you mean?"
She smiled, "For now, you all need to make sure that your abilities are in harmony with the light ability you just received."
She wanted to discuss with Lily and Vermilion Bird first what she had thought.
But if it works then…
Her smile turned into a grin, "I have always wondered why we seemed to be too weak against the darkness even though we were supposed to be the ones fighting against it."
The rest turned to her, even the beasts who were done with their own things.
"It was like do we really have a chance? And now I understand, darkness is involved with everyone and everything and as the power going against it, was the light ability supposed to stand alone?"
They each looked at one another.
"We will become stronger," she declared.
"We will surely become stronger and get their bodies back!!!"
The rest smiled as well, before they instantly agreed with her.
Seeing her enthusiasm, they couldn't help but to be pulled along.
"I need you all to step up your games even more. Hunter and Drake, you were studying the natural earth's property, make sure to enhance your strength on this side. Ridge, I need you to create a purification potion."
"Purification?"
"Yes, something that could stop the darkness from expanding within human body. This will ensure that we won't face more living people turned to dark forces. And Nixon and Willow will be tasked to spread this using the wood and water. As for Stormie and Felix, I need you to become better at your sword handling skills. Battle the generals while improving your adaptability with the light ability."
Everyone acknowledged with determination.
They will no longer be swayed by anything.
