Zian cleared his throat, "Anyway, I really am thanking you right now. For pulling me out of the death god's grasp."
As he spoke, he looked at Nixona dn Saphira sincerely.
He can remember that they were the last people he saw and knew that it was them who healed him.
Nixon waved his hand, "You are our friend. If we are willing to save the rest of the world even though they are strangers to us, why won't we help you more?"
The others nodded their heads in agreement.
Zian scratched the tip of his nose with a smile on his lips.
"I am indeed blessed to have such wonderful friends."
The rest of the surviving people who saw this smiled as well seeing their emperor's happiness.
Even though the reality of their condition is grave, due to the fact that most of the people have died. There is no blame in the atmosphere.
Just as Saphira said, the eight of them aren't gods who can move the mountains with a flick of their hands. They can't save everyone just because they wanted to.
And this fact was understood by the remaining people who survived.
They were grieving yes, but they weren't blaming.
Even though it is a fact that Draco Empire and the rest of the kingdoms of this land didn't see the day Saphira broke down, because of the condition they were facing then.

Zian sighed and shook his head, "Honestly, I still don't know. I am still thinking, after all, I had already given up on my life a while ago yet here I am still alive and kicking."
From the get go, his focus was on tryiing to save as many people as he can. Then when he was caught a while ago, he had given up on his life.
He simply continued fighting in order to lessen the number of enemies his people would face.
He was even wondering if anyone would ever survive.
The weeks that passed in their lives were nothing but dread that hope was already a complete luxury they couldn't afford.
After all, his orb was destroyed by the attack that he couldn't ask for help.
The whole land was also surrounded by demonic beasts and dark forces that they couldn'tt even send people out to travel to other lands to ask for help.
It was really a complete lost for them.
They were simply trying to survive since they still can.
So Zian had completely stopped thinking of what he should do once they overcome this ordeal.
Even his trusted knights have died, only a few survived.
Most of the people in this underground place were civillians.
The knights who tried to look for more survivors would either get one or two or they themselves would be lost in the battle.
Seeing the defeated look on his face, the complete contrast of what he was showing a while ago, their group couldn't help but to be affected as well.

They all looked back at Saphira.
"Why don't all the rest of you go to Qillian Empire?"
Zian stared at her blankly.
"I mean we are still in a perilous time. If you stay here or got to another place then surely you would meet more enemies. Most of your people who are here, can't fight right?"
Without looking around, the aura surrounding them was enough for Saphira to tell that in the two hundred survivors, only about twenty were with abilities and strength.
Meaning the rest were normal people who needed to be protected.
If they are to roam on their own then their demise would surely be in the near future.
"I am not telling you to stay there for good, in the end this land was still your home. Once the war ended then you can come back here and start anew," she explained.
"You can stay at Vermin Kingdom, it was the kingdom with the least number of people as compared to the rest of kngdoms under Qillian Empire."
She knew Zian will have some reserves if they are to stay at Qillian Empire itself, so she invited them on one of the kingdoms under it.
Most of her relatives are in Vermin Kingdom as well, she can assk them to help out a bit.
After she took the reign of being the commander and showed her strength time and time again, people from their empire spoke better and better about their family.
And Vermin Kingdom who remained believing in their family was the place she would say, she felt safer the most.
Not simply because this is the home of her ancestors but also because the people still believed in them.
Some had shown prejudice but most didn't.
Thinking deeply, Zian knew that this was indeed his best option as of this moment.
He looked at Saphira and the rest once again feeling grateful for meeting them.
"We will inform our Empire regarding this, once they come to retrieve Ardel's... body, you can join them on their journey back."
