Chapter 225 - CHAPTER 225: We Have To Go Back

Unbeknownst to Saphira and Hunter, when they made those two pillars of mana, the dark lord have felt its presence.

"Go and do the plan in Hydra Kingdom, whether they are there or not, that place is already irritating enough for its light attribute. It has weakened a lot that you can infiltrate and wreak havoc."

Raynisha bowed her head and acknowledged.

After standing up she turned to leave, only to stop and turn to the person, to be precise her partner.

"Ardel let's go," she called.

Ardel, who stood motionless on the side, blinked and followed her after bowing towards the dark lord.

The dark lord, still enshrouded in darkness, only his cold ruthless eyes could be seen, watched their backs as they walked away.

A pair of arms wrapped themselves around his arm.

"What are you thinking so deeply my lord."

The dark lord turned to Flora, "Nothing."

She smiled coquettishly as she rubbed her head on his arm.

He pulled his arm from her and wrapped it around her shoulder instead.

Flora sighed contentedly.

'My time has come, I won't let any of you have the chance to become stronger enough to contend with me. I will crush you little by little until there is nothing left for you to fight with,' he thought.

*****

Saphira opened her eyes and yawned, "Where are we?"

"A forest in between Hydra Kingdom and Atria Kingdom," Willow answered.

She was sitting by the bonfire.

It was too troublesome to make a house when they are only spending a night in the place, so they chose to simply camp out.

It was already dark but Willow was the only one with her.

"Where are the rest?" Saphira asked as she walked over to the fire.

"Looking around."

"Hmmm."

They sat in silence.

Saphira took the meat near her and pierced it with a stick before placing it on the fire.

She had a smile on as she cooked something to eat.

"Your words..."

She turned when Willow started.

"When you were drunk, do you remember?"

"Vaguely."

"Have you ever wished for something yourself?"

Saphira smiled, "I have, I am not selfless enough to just wish for you guys. I had been selfish as well, in more ways than one."

Willow nodded her head, it is good enough to hear that she wasn't only thinking about them.

"What's this? Could you be worried about me?" she teased.

Willow turned to her with indifference, "If I have time to worry about you. I would rather use it to myself."

"Oooh, that's harsh. But that is better," she laughed.

Worrying will make you think of things that are unnecessary.

If one can use it to strengthen themselves instead, then she would not ask for anything more.

"The drunkard's awake," Nixon commented upon their return.

"It is called resting," she rebuked chewing on the meat.

"Resting? You were so much demanding, never thought you will be such when you are drunk," Nixon laughed.

Saphira furrowed her brows and thought back deeply.

She tried remembering what she had done.

She then remembered making Hunter carry her on his back.

Then along the way, she tasked them not to fly but instead walk. She was talking about some nonsense exercise.

Then in a river, she made Stormie wash her feet.

And the list goes on.

She couldn't help but to support her forehead with her hand while still chewing.

"Was that me?" she asked them.

They shrugged.

Then she started laughing, "Oh my gosh, it was embarrassing but most of all, it was so funny. I never thought I could do such things."

The rest were amused enough that even though she was demanding, they still did as she asked them.

Saphira continued laughing and her laugh made her look younger, looking like the teenager she was supposed to be.

A laughe rarely seen on her.

She took a deep breath after laughing to her heart's content, "I must commend you all, you actually keep up with me. At times you should have just placed me to sleep."

"Oh we did try I promise you," Ridge answered.

"What happened then?" she asked.

"It seems potions, poisons and all are no longer as effective for you," he answered.

Saphira tilted her head to the side before calling out Light.

"I already told you that your constitution has changed a lot. You won't be healed by gifted water ability users, you can't heal yourself and potions, poison and stuffs are no longer as effective towards you."

Saphira was agaped, "Are you telling me to heal on my own?"

Light nodded her head, "You do heal faster than normal people."

"No, the pain I am telling you the pain. Must I endure the pain longer?"

She wanted to cry but there are no tears, she could only vent her frustration on the meat on her hand.

Willow handed her a newly cooked one when she finished it.

She took it and continued eating while grieving.

Light shrugged and returned inside Saphira.

As she vent out, her eyes turnedd sharp, she abruptly stood up and looked towards a certain direction.

The others were alarmed, for even the meat on her hand dropped on the floor.

"We have to go back," she told them.

She had been out for the whole day, she had not eaten and so her senses have dwindled.

'What have you been doing Light?' she asked.

'My senses isn't as high as the host, I am simply a spirit, the distance is too far, not even the mythological beasts have realized it,' Light replied.

She didn't know what Saphira felt but the urgency in her voice meant that it was something dreadful.

"STORMIE GET ROC OUT!!! WE HAVE TO GET BACK NOW!!!"
