'A talented brat,' Vermilion Bird commented.
'Indeed,' Saphira replied.
The thread had actually gotten close to the ball of mana fire and slowly wrapped itself around it.
'He seems much more talented than you are,' he added.
Saphira rolled her eyes, 'That is not true.'
'It is not if you are not being too lazy.'
'Look who's talking,' she rebuked.
'...'
Light laughed, Vermilion Bird actually called ehr lazy when all along he was one as well.
She barely see him awake.
Very slowly Felix started controlling the mana fire letting it come close to him.
He and Saphira were five feet apart, after he was able to move the fire at half a distance, his threads were repelled and the mana fire disappeared.
He dropped to the ground while breathing heavily, beads of sweat were visible on his forehead.
"I told you what you will be doing is the most difficult task," Saphira said looking at him.
"But with your first try, you have done quite a great job, I must commend you. If I were to compare, if you are the one making this, you would be close to creating what I and Hunter have showed a while ago."
If that was the case then that means that he was ahead of the others.
Nixon grumpily looked on the side, she didn't compare Felix to them but somehow he hated the fact that Felix was doing better than him.
"Go on and rest for the day, we will continue this early tomorrow morning," Saphira instructed.
Felix was truly mentally drained, he didn't wait and went back inside.
"As for the rest of you keep going, I wish to see results in another two days," she instructed the rest.
She didn't say it but it was clear to them, Felix was capable enough that he would be able to complete his task in two days.
They wouldn't allow themselves to lag behind, each of them went their own way and did their training.
Saphira smiled, it is not about comparing but motivating that will help them do better.
With someone as talented as Felix and with them watching his improvement, she knew they wouldn't be discouraged but instead they would be challenged.
"Saphira," Hunter called.
"Hmmm?"
"The puppet and the fact about someone controlling another, those were things that are on the dark side."
Saphira pursed her lips.
"How did you know of it?"
"You know of it too," she answered.
"I do but the details, I don't."
Her knowledge was too detailed as compared to the rest of them.
Saphira scratched her cheek before looking at him.
"I read it from the files that Raynisha had back in the day," she honestly answered.
"She had those files back in the day?" he seriously repeated.
"Yes but it was approved by the emperor," she replied.
"My father?"
She nodded her head, "As the one who was supposed to be leading this order. The emperor let her read those things to prepare as well. But she was supposed to keep it to herself."
Hunter sighed, "And you read it just like that?"
"Well I was berated when she found me."
The records on things such as experimenting on people with ability were extremely prohibited all over the world.
And puppeteer is one of them.
If one were to practice it, they could actually control someone for as far as a hundred kilometers away.
It was devious as one could kill without dirtying their hands.
"But you seemed to have grasped the concept behind it quite clearly," he continued.
Saphira looked upbut it didn't escape his eyes that her eyes had glazed over.
"It was interesting," was all she replied.
Hunter shook his head but no longer commented.
'Vermilion Bird,' Light spoke.
'...' Vermilion Bird opened one of his eyes.
'She is keeping too much sadness contained in her secrets. It is nmot a good thing for the light ability,' she continued.
Vermilion Bird closed his eye once again.
'The heart is the most difficult to manage. The conditions in using light is too big to handle. I think I get why the former holder was so lonely,' he said with his eyes closed.
Light sighed, 'Without negative emotions is indeed very difficult.'
'But how can one become strong if one were not to experience these negative things?' he replied.
Light didn't answer, she was simply the spirit of it, she was simply there as a monitor.
But she also knew that the demand was big just so one could use the light's full potential.
'Is she supposed to lose her emotions to use it to its full potential?' Vermilion Bird spoke again.
Light couldn't answer.
'She will be fine, she can fight. She is smart enough to make use of what was on her arsenal even if she can't use its full potential,' he added after a while.
'Well I think you are right. Just that there is one thing she needs to lose for the ability to be strengthened more than it is now. Even if it won't be reaching perfection,' finally she was able to say something.
Vermilion Bird once again opened one of his eyes, 'And that is the thing you talked about but won't tell me in detail?'
She nodded her head.
Vermilion Bird rolled his eyes before going back to sleep.
Light looked back outside before sighing.
"Captain those two pillars?"
Raizen looked at his subordinate.
They were standing on guard when two different colored pillars of light appeared and disappeared so fast.
"No questions," he commanded.
"We are here to guard the area in order to allow them to train in peace. Whatever it is they are training, just know that it is for the greater good."
"Yes, sir."
The subordinate saluted before walking away.
They can tell those abilities weren't there to attack but the immense power it held was something they have not encountered in their lives.
It was concentrated with power very strong.
'How can I compare,' he thought with a sigh before returning to his duty.
