Upon getting to Hydra Kingdom, they could see that they are holding on just fine.
"Why don't you guys go and look around? I'll go alone to their palace," Saphira spoke to them.
Hunter frowned upon hearing that she will be going on her own once again.
"All of us are too eye catching. Since this place is much more peaceful than the others we've been to. It is best to look around and see if that is truly the case. There might be hidden dangers."
She walked ahead on the road before turning to look at them with a big smile.
"Plus I know you guys are already tired of the library smell. I have been sleeping all this time after all. I have more than enough rest to study this time," she waved at them as she walked ahead.
The others looked at Hunter.
"You already understand why she was speaking this way," was his words before following her.
They knew that she was giving them time to enjoy themselves even just for a day longer.
It is not every time that they would encounter a kingdom that was still a bit more peaceful than the rest.
They looked at one another before they separated.
Willow and Stormie together while the other three were together.
It seems that their faces weren't as popular here than the other places for barely anyone tried to approach them.
Those who tried became unsure seeing them walk around like a simple bunch of teen agers and then would give up seeing them play around.
Everyone expects that the heroes would be fighting the moment they arrive, trying to figure out the current condition and then doing their business.
Just as what Zian had thought, so many people placed too much pressure on the seven of them.
That they are supposed to do their mission non stop until the darkness was eradicated.
They were thinking of them as puppets made just to fight.
If they see them play then they would reprimand them.
Saying that they are not doing their jobs seriously.
And now, if the people who recognized them but brushed it off as someone else were to find out that it was indeed them, surely they would once again be criticized.
Meanwhile...
"Just look for a secluded place, I know you still need to speak with your brother. If not surely he would look for a chance to come to you again," Saphira spoke to Hunter, who followed her.
"It is-"
"It is not fine."
She sighed before turning to look at him, "Don't say it is fine when you know exactly what I mean by this. He would be distressed by the thought that you think negatively of him. He is your one and only brother, you knew inside you that that moment of doubt was purely because of what you have witnessed with Samuel."
Hunter glanced to the side.
That's right, he was simply affected back then of what he had witnessed from Samuel's memories but after a day, he was already fine.
He was able to think properly and knew his brother wasn't the same.
Because he felt his genuine care for him.
In the end, he thought his brother would let it go once he didn't try to ask about it anymore.
Who would have thought that he would take the chance of meeting them just to speak with him.
"Just go, speak your mind once in a while. Not everyone would be able to understand what was on your mind simply by your actions or the look in your face," Saphira urged him.
Hunter sighed before nodding slightly, "I will meet you in the castle then."
She smiled and waved him to go before she continued her way to the castle.
'This place isn't bad, the darkness wasn't so strong. Meaning the people are truly living in peace,' Light commented inside her.
'That is a good thing for us, that way we won't have to worry about those people coming here because of the darkness in it,' she replied.
If there are a lot of darkness, not only the demonic beasts will come in great quantity but the ones leading them will surely come to feast as well.
Just as how she devours darkness using light, the darkness could eat the darkness as well, strengthening them.
But not as strong as when they devour their nemesis.
"Good morning, can I please have an audience with your king?"
The two guards in the gate looked at her with a frown.
Why would a child suddenly appear here and tell them that she wants to have an audience with their king?
Is there king so free that he could meet anyone who wants to meet them?
Saphira can tell that they are looking down at her and that they would surely not let her in.
So she was left with no choice but to bring out her platinum badge.
The badge that only the seven of them would ever have within the knighthood of the whole world.
The guards' two pairs of eyes went wide upon seeing them.
Then they returned their look at her before remembering the face that was simply familiar to them a while ago.
Familiar but unrecognizable.
This time, after she had shown her badge, they stood straight.
"Please come in and give us a moment to have the message of your arrival be passed to the king," one spoke before opening the gate.
The other left to inform the other palaze guards to pass the message.
While the other tasked another one to bring Saphira inside the castle.
'The badge is seriously...' she sighed at this thought.
Well, she really didn't plan to use the badge all the time, she was simply short in time that she needs to use every possible thing in her to get what she wants as soon as possible.
Looking around, the palace was well maintained, it wasn't too extravagant as if to inform the whole kingdom that this was the palace.
Instead it was simple that one would think the royal family was humble enough not to use excessive money on the castle.
