Chapter 193 - CHPATER 193: This Positivity Entails Negativity

"I can seem to smell some delicious food coming from the dining area," Felix spoke deciding to end the topic there.

He was curious but that doesn't mean he has to actually try and make Nixon uncomfortable when it was obvious that this topic was something he really has no desire to linger on.

"It seems we are about to leave as well," Nixon replied smelling the same delicious smell.

It was quite an understanding because he can smell that the number of dishes are more than what they usually have, meaning it could be a celebration or a party for departure.

When they did arrive to the dinning area, Nixon was right, there was a party and most of those they interacted with were present.

"We will come back though, I just found that the knowledge we have now and the things we gathered up to this day are still lacking for the barrier we wished to create. Once we gained the knowledge we want, we will surely come back."

These are the words that they heard from Saphira when they got close to where their group is.

It seems that Saphira have decided that staying will no longer be productive for them.

Zian sighed, "I enjoyed your companionship, you all should take care of yourselves. I can see that your battles will become even more difficult as time goes by."

"We will keep that in mind," Saphira answered.

They ate merrily and enjoyed their last night in Draco Empire.

"So just use the orb to lok for us and be careful along the way, we have no idea just how things are going on right now," Saphira told Felix.

Felix smiled, "Thank you, be careful as well. I'll look for you once I am done with my duties over there."

He looked at Stormie and of course, he can tell that she had been crying because her eyes were a bit puffy.

He smiled at her and nodded before waving the rest goodbye.

He rode on Phoenix and the two departed earlier than the rest.

The seven of them haven't left because they are waiting for the people who will pick up Chester's body.

Even though they are aware of how much the elite squad wasn't the person they portray themselves to be and that they didn't like their group as what they have thought in the past.

And in reality, the others weren't keen to letting Chester go back to the empire.

But Saphira insisted to bring his body home.

They thought she was trying to gueard his body against the dark force, that he might be taken again if left somewhere else.

But Saphira spoke that the body could only be used once, if it dies then no matter how strong the dark force is, they can't revive him again.

That is why Samuel was saved back then, this time around, they must have not anticipated that Saphira would become stronger and be able to actually kill Chester.

So when they asked, why?

Why must they still return to the empire.

Saphira smiled at them and replied in the most gentle tone.

The elite squad still had their families back home.

The families who cherish them and loved them dearly.

No matter what, she has no wish to let them keep on crying over poprtraits of their dead children.

Chester had some adoptive parents, whom Saphira knew loved him a lot.

They may have wronged or thought wrongly of the seven of them.

But surely it was not the same for their family.

And even if the then elite squad didn't really love anyone from Qillian Empire, their families loved them dearly.

That on itself is reason enough for them to return the body and let he family have a proper place to mourn for their child.

And as one of the families, Drake could feel where she was coming from.

Even though she had hated Raynisha, his hatred had slowly dissipated to the point where he can look at things differetly.

That Raynisha was used by the dark force.

It doesn't entirely mean that she had wished to kill all of them.

To kill her most beloved.

After Saphira had explained everything, they calmed down and thought of it properly.

She was right, the damilies are still mourning for the bodies that were never found.

They are still crying over pictures and still have those small hope about the possibility of being alive, of surviving.

Sending the bodies back will give them the peace that they didn't have for nine years now.

Of course, this positivity entails negativity.

Having them come home also means that their current condition will be publicized, that the elite squad are now a squad of darkness.

But Saphira didn't care while the others are worried.

Raynisha was known to be the one who killed them all while being consumed by darkness, this means their family would be implicated all over again.

That because of Raynisha, their family became pawns of darkness.

"Don't worry about me or my family, I have informed them properly of everything. They can handle themselves just fine."

Hunter was actually there when Saphira spoke to the heads about her plan of sending the bodies back.

And he could feel that something felt stranged towards all of them when they knew of this and the outcome will be that Saphira's family might be implicated all over again.

He looked at his father intensely but his father remained unanswering to his inquiry.

He looked at Saphira and Saphira simply smiled at him and he was defeated.

He sighed before putting it at the back of his mind.

Someday he will have the answers, that is for sure.

For now, he will just stay as a bystander, watching the events flow.

"I just thought of something," Ridge spoke up as they wait around a bonfire.

They are currently in a forest near the shore facing the direction of the next kingdom that they will be checking, Hydra Kingdom.
