Reginald couldn't really look at her for the past months.
Not because he too thinks the same as the others that her family was at fault but because he couldn't do anything for their family.
He could only watch their family go to shambles day after day.
"What is it?" he asked preparing the teleportation.
"Please look at me for I have something very important to tell you."
Having no other choice, Reginald looked at her.
And he was stunned to see her eyes.
It was no longer those lazy looking eye of that kid from six months ago.
It has now a sense of maturity that had seen so much.
"Just what happened back then?" he couldn't help but ask while staring at her red orange eyes.
For so long they had asked her but she remained silent refusing to say even a word.
"That is..."
He was stunned to hear her speak after asking this question.
In the past, she would just stare at them or smile without saying anything.
But this time she started speaking.
And as she continued, his face turned pale and he felt like all his strength was leaving his body.
"You... You were hiding all of this?" Reginald asked her as he knelt before her and grabbed her shoulders.
Saphira smiled, "If I don't then everything will become even more chaotic."
Reginald couldn't imagine it, such a young child to be able to keep all of this to herself.
"Your parents, your grandfather..." he started.
Saphira shook her head, "No one knows, your majesty. No one knows."
Her smiled remained on her lips but her eyes were filled with sadness.
Yet even though they were filled with it, no tears had come out.
Even while she was recalling the events, not a single tear was shed.
"Then I..."
"You can decide for other matters, but I don't wish for the people to know and I don't wish for my group to know. Not for a long time. That is all I am wishing right now," she then said.
'Then isn't it the same as you saying that I can only inform the heads?' he thought.
But for now, all he wished for the girl in front of him who has been through so much was to fulfill her wish.
That is why he will keep most of the information, he will tell them some but not all.
He will attend to her wishes.
(End Of Flashback)
The three of them sighed.
"Stop sighing in there and get moving," Black Tortoise spoke.
"You do understand, you all need to improve in this short span of time," Roc added.
"You guys are becoming more and more strict by the day," Nixon complained.
"Do you understand what we were going through as well?" Basilisk complained as well.
"What do you mean?" Ridge asked him.
"Qirin was a quiet one, he left us to do what we think is right but Vermilion Bird is the complete opposite. No he does not get mad, but he nags us on how we couldn't handle you all and more things. The horror, you must understand the horror of listening from his venomous tongue," Roc explained.
The three of them could see that they were speaking of the truth.
They can somehow hear it from their voices.
"We're sorry?" Nixon replied with a question mark in the end.
"Just focus on improving, then we will be saved from all of it," Black Tortoise replied.
The three silently had an agreement that they will surely improve.
"Those guys bad mouthing me like that."
Unbeknownst to them, Vermilion Bird wasn't that far from them.
But because he had hidden his aura, they didn't notice him at all.
"They are speaking of the truth," Qirin answered.
He was also there.
Hunter was too responsible enough that Qirin didn't need to be beside him.
"Hey, that's slunder. I only speak of the truth. They are proud mythological beasts but they couldn't handle those brats. And what kind of things are they teaching them? No there was none. The other one was even allowing the brat to boss over him. What they can only share their power? What proudness is that?!? And then..."
Qirin rolled his eyes.
'There it is, your venomous tongue. And you still deny it,' he shook his head as he thought of this.
"Hey, hey are you listening to me?" Vermilion Bird spoke.
"Yes I am. Go on," Qirin replied but his mind was really wandering while Vermilion Bird spoke non stop.
After about an hour.
"I'm parched."
"Shall we go back so that you can drink?" Qirin suggested.
'My ears are already ringing, thank god you are already parched,' he added in his mind.
At the same time, he couldn't help but to think as if speaking of the others.
'You listen to his venomous tongue and that's all. But I have to listen to everything that he had told all of you. Who do you think has it difficult now?'
If the others were to hear him then they would answer at the same time.
'You, you are so pitiful.'
After getting back, Qirin knew that Vermilion Bird wasn't done yet so he made an excuse of looking for Hunter and left without waiting for his answer.
"That bastard, I wasn't even half way done yet."
After grumbling, Vermilion Bird returned to Saphira's room.
'Black Tortoise, Roc, get your brats here,' he called through the link between the mythological beasts.
The ice had melted a lot again.
But as compared to the beginning, the melting has slowed down a lot.
"It seems you are close to returning," he said before flying up and resting on the window.
Since he has no one to talk to now, he will just sleep.
Stormie and Nixon already know just how much they should do that he didn't need to tell them over and over again.
