Gideon was stunned at first before he started laughing.
"Seriously, I don't think you two will end up pushing through with the wedding."
She smiled, "I have watched how the Empress had difficulties in being one. But I have seen how much the Emperor had even more."
She had witnessed how the Empress supports the Emperor because the palace was like a playground for her when she was a child.
"That is why I won't back down. Just thinking of how much Hunter will have difficulties in the future. I have decided to myself that I will be the one supporting him instead of other people."
Gideon looked at her before a smile appeared on his handsome fame.
"You two are seriously-"
"And that is a topic for a different time, your highness."
Before he could continue, she interrupted him not letting him continue what he was about to say.
Gideon couldn't help but to laugh.
"Fine, we have arrived anyway."
Saphira looked at the place and frowned, "This is not the audience hall though."
They are right in front of the building of the Heroes.
"Father Emperor instructed me to bring you here."
"I see."
She somehow had a feeling of why he wanted to speak with her here.
Back then, she had told him of the information she holds just as she was being sent away.
He didn't have time to speak with her more.
And she knew that, it shall be the topic of their talk this time as well.
"Thank you for escorting me," she looked at Gideon and smiled.
"It was fun speaking with you after so long as well. I'll take my leave now."
He waved her goodbye before leaving her on her own.
Saphira took a deep breath and walked inside.
No one was gurading it and no one was inside when she entered.
The place wasn't filled with statues or anything.
It was instead filled with plaques.
Plaques of different years.
Each plaque had a name of heroes on that particular year.
That is why the Building of Heroes was occupying one whole building.
It was three floors high and each floor was filled with plaques.
Not every year there is a hero but this place was filled of plaques because it was a building of thousands of years of heroes appearing in the Empire.
She then found herself in front of one particular plaque that was at the third floor.
She was looking at the plaque of the names of the heroes from 8 years ago. It was a plaque that didn't contain Raynisha's name.
"I'm sorry I could no longer change that," a voice came from the side.
Just as she had thought, this was the reason he called for her here.
"Do you plan to apologize to me about this your majesty by calling me here?" she asked in respect.
"Please, be at ease since we are alone. I am like a father to you," he replied as he stepped towards her, looking at the golden plaque as well.
Saphira smiled before looking back at the plaque.
"You really don't have to apologize though," she once again said.
"I couldn't do it when I sent you away eight years ago and I even end up blundering that I sent you on a different Empire. But at least allow me to do this now," he insisted.
"I want to change-"
"There is no point in changing anything now your majesty. If it was changed then the guilt of how things have turned will surely cause more chaos than what has already passed," she interrupted him.
Reginald laughed, since he said that she can talk at ease. She actually interrupted him while talking. He was not the least bit irritated but he found it amusing.
Reginald have the same hair color as Hunter, brown with a tinge of gold.
But his eyes was different, it was white gold in color.
This is due to the nature of his ability.
The previous Emperor of Scorpius Empire, sent him a letter after they have departed to Alquira Empire. Telling him that he has such a wonderful knight on his side.
The character wasn't bad either, she was straight forward but not rude, she knows her own limitations.
Then he sighed, she had the laziness in the past but she wasn't the serious one. She may have this character in the past but she felt mysterious now.
"In the end, I couldn't make a move after what you have told me," he said in regret.
"Your majesty, let us not repeat the grief of 8 years ago. The parties involved are doing fine now, the people will soon let it go as well. We are still living and doing quite good. This is already enough," she looked at him and smiled.
"If only that thing didn't happen ten years ago," he has so much regret but as the emperor, he has his duties he needs to face.
Saphira shook her head, "We are bound with duties. And in order for this Empire to live in peace despite the fact that seven mythological beasts stay here, is for us to keep our promise with the world."
The promise that Qillian Empire has with the world was that it will become the main protector of the world from darkness.
And other than what happened 8 years ago where the most elite squad of the Empire was killed, something else happened 10 years ago that lead to the tragic incident.
Something only the heads know.
Saphira only found out after what had happened 8 years ago.
"And so, that person was already a lost case. There is no point dwelling in the past, we should only look forward," she continued.
"Your ancestors- no, the ancestors of the Qillian Empire. Will surely be proud of how you deal with everything," he replied with a warm smile.
"That's exaggeration your majesty. I am just living in the present."
Reginald was silent for a bit before he once again opened his mouth.
"The others still didn't know?" he asked.
