It should have been a normal one, but as he looked at it, even the onlookers, they feel like it was the deadliest smile of all.
"One..."
She started.
As he stared at her orange eyes, that seemed like they were red orange instead, fear started creeping in his heart.
He can see it, she was a beast, a beast that had been dormant all this time.
A beast that shouldn't have been woken up but they unwittingly did so.
"Two..."
His breathing hitched as he stared directly in her eyes.
And when she opened her lips to count the number three, he rushed to say what he knows.
"THE CAFETERIA, THEY'RE AT THE CAFETRIA!!!!"
Saphira smiled again before looking up at Garret.
"Was he one of them?"
Even Garret felt scared that he must not lie at this moment.
He could only nod.
Her eyes returned to the man and by then the man knew, his screwed.
All the onlookers could only close their eyes when he was bombarded with punches that two of his teeth actually flew out.
"Saphira!!! You will get expelled at this rate," Garret said worriedly as she stood up and walked towards the cafeteria without even wiping the blood on her hands.
"Don't worry, I will definitely be fine. Everything's going to be alright, okay?" she smiled at him.
The smile that wasn't scary at all.
Upon getting there, she looked at him.
"All of them? Were they involve?"
She pointed at where the bullies and the underlings are gathered.
Garret slowly nodded his head.
He really couldn't lie because her eyes are discerning and he can tell that she will be able to tell if he were to lie.
At the same time, after so long when she said that everything will be alright, he felt so reassured.
'Was it a feeling of when a hero appears before you and tells you that everything will be alright and then the bad guys were defeated?' he thought as he looked at her back.
He can feel in his heart the warmth of being protected and the security of having that back in front of you.
Because she never fought back or she left them to do as they please. He never thought of looking at that back with such thoughts.
It was only now he realized that every single time, a hit was coming his way, she would be there to stop it from getting to him.
She would stop him in irritating them more just so he won't be hit.
All along without him realizing it, she had been protecting him even though she was the one who will be hurt in the end.
A man's pride? He has none of that because his heart was that of a woman.
But right now, he felt ashamed.
Such a smaller frame than him but was the one protecting him.
He couldn't help but to have another resolve.
One day he will become stronger.
Much stronger that no one will dare bully him despite his preferences.
And as he admired her while following her. Very slowly all those who are in the cafeteria turned their eyes on her.
Her current presence was something no one could ignore.
It was strong and powerful.
They felt like they were facing a different person.
The group of the bullies, looked towards her when the whole place suddenly turned silent.
A few have also noticed that her knuckles were tainted with blood.
"I never really like causing a scene you see, but even the kindest have their own bottom lines. And you just crossed that," she talked to them and then her aura turned colder.
A few students took a step away from that group.
The three leader of the group were children of the dukedom in the Empire that no one can truly offend them.
Everyone thought, Saphira was the same because she had been letting them do as they please.
They thought it is because she knew her position that she tend to just hold it in, especially since she was an orphan.
But right now she seemed different.
Thinking back, there is only one change right now.
She had been receiving all the bullying in the past, words alone were thrown at the one beside her.
But yesterday, when he was alone and ended up bumping to this group, he became the victim of their punches.
That was the only difference from the past.
Garret was the one who was hurt right now and not Saphira.
"What can you do?" the main leader walked to her and smugly grinned at her.
Saphira smirked and by the time everyone realized it, the guy in front of her had bent over while groaning.
They didn't see her move but the guy was already groaning in pain.
Her eyes turned to the others.
She disappeared right in front of them and one by one, they were taken down.
The first guy she hit slowly stood up.
"YOU LOWLIFE!!!!!"
He rushed to her but Saphira faced him before he could get close, then without warning she grabbed him by the collar and using her leg, she caused him to lose balance by tripping him.
He ended up falling on his back while she sit over him.
After that, she started raining down punches on him.
"What is wrong with having a different preference? Huh? You act all high and mighty just because you are born a noble but what good do you have?"
A tooth flew.
"You are a good for nothing, the way you carried your sword sucks. It would surely fly away if you are to face a stronger demonic beast."
Another flew hitting one of the terrified onlookers.
"What about your brain? No you don't have one. What's in your head is air. Plain air that you can't even pass your exams without the connection of your parents."
And another flew on the other side.
"So you have no right to judge him just because he has a different preference. He is way better than you, character or brain. You are the garbage."
The rest couldn't really stand from her previous attack that no one could help him.
This was to be expected because she had used more force in hitting them.
But it was a shock to the rest because they thought of her as the weakest, so why is it that her punch had taken them down with just a single blow?
"Saphira!!!" Garret wanted to stop her.
But the way she had fought, he could tell-
No not just him, but the rest of the students who are present, also could tell.
Saphira was not the person they had always thought she was.
"Okay, okay, that's enough. He is already unconscious and looking like a pig. His lost more than half of his teeth as well."
All eyes went to the one who suddenly grabbed her by her arms and raised her from her sitting position.
His arms are under her armpit as he held her firmly.
His brown eyes looked down at the man lying on the ground, already passed out from all her punches.
Most ladies looked at him in awe.
He was definitely the definition of handsome.
"Let go of me Hunter, I am not yet done with that man. How dare he have prejudice when it comes to sex? Just who does he think he is," she struggled from his grip but Hunter didn't let her go.
He had come here to inform her that the letter will arrive in the afternoon, he just didn't expect to see her in a one sided fight while searching for her.
"Calm down Saphira, you might end up getting him permanently injured," he tried to calm her.
When he looked up, he saw Garret who was looking at them not knowing what to do.
He noticed the bruises in him and understood why Saphira was suddenly being like this.
The rest of the students were looking at them in shock.
Their lowest student actually knew the man who stopped her.
And seeing as he was not in a uniform yet still got the chance to enter the academy means he was a part of nobility.
Saphira was an orphan, but how did she know him?
"You are her frined?" Hunter asked Garret.
Garret slowly nodded his head, he was still in complete shock at the sudden situation he was thrown into.
"Can you guide me somewhere that is not crowded?" he asked.
Garret nodded his head again before walking ahead.
Hunter grab hold of Saphira and seeing as she was adamant that she was not yet done beating up the person in front of her, he could only carry her over his shoulder.
"Wha- Hey Hunter!!! What are you doing?!?!" Saphira snapped out of her anger.
"We are leaving this place," was all he said and everyone else ended up just watching them leave.
The turn of events were too much for them to suddenly react.
