The car had gotten out of control of Samuel. He tried to swerve the car away from the other one to not cause an accident since the break wasn't working.
He put his right hand in front of Maria to save her from colliding with something.
But the car got out of control and collided with a slightly higher ground on the side of the road.
It caused the air bags to open and the car turned over landed on its roof, its front colliding first breaking the windshield, and then the rest of the car.
Everything felt in slow motion for the both of them. Maria was in so much shock that she couldn't get a word out of her mouth.
Her head collided with the side of the window causing her to be our of her senses. The same was the case with Samuel.
He was the first one to wake up, vision blurry and he felt pain around his legs.
His mind registered where he was and he immediately turned his head to check over Maria.
