Nile moved his gaze to Nancy, staring at her and realising how she had grown so much without his knowledge.
Nancy stared at him blankly and gave a small nod.
" You never noticed right? " The corner of Nile's mouth lifted in a sad smile.
" Notice what? " Nancy furrowed her eyebrows.
" My face was swollen that day. " Nile said after a chuckle.
" What, do you mean? " Nancy tilted her head.
" They had beaten me too, with anything and everything they could find. " Nile smiled at her.
" What? " Nancy's eyes widened.
