Maria sat infront of the emergency room. Tears streamed down her eyes. The doctor had informed her that her father was fine but Samuel's condition was still unknown.
She rested her head on the wall and took a deep breath.
' Everything will be fine. ' She consoled herself.
Suddenly the doctors started rushing inside the emergency room and then she heard one of them say.
" He is going in shock. Charge the defibrillator. "
And then the doors closed in front of her face.
Hearing these words, a heaviness settled in her heart. Her mouth became dry. The tears spilled down but no voice came out of her mouth.
She stood there motionless. A sudden pull at her shoulder brought her out of her trance.
" What happened? " Mark's voice filled her ears.
She shook her head in disappointment. Mark eyes became wide.
" No, it can't happen. " He rubbed his face.
" Sit down. I will bring water. He will be alright. " Mark made her sit.
