Huge flames, toxic air, his lungs felt constricted. Coughing heavily, he moved towards Jay. Jay had fallen on the ground and wheezing loudly.
" Mr.Parker, Mr.Parker, can you hear me? " He said as loud as his throat allowed.
But Jay just kept his head down. He felt the world spin. Samuel lifted his hand and brought them around his neck. Putting the weight, on his legs he stood up but due to blurred vision he stumbled forward.
Carrying him on his back, he moved towards the front door. The door had weakened due to termites, and even had holes, so he tried to open his by kicking but someone had blocked it from outside.

Mark walked slowly towards the house, he had a lot of thoughts in his mind. He reached the back door but hearing screaming noises, he rushed towards the front yard. He asked the servants about what happened.
" Tha canal house got on fire. " This sentence echoed in his ears.
" What? " A whisper came out of his mouth in disbelief.

Brian was collecting woods for the fireplace. A lot of time has passed since Jay's arrival so he decided to go back.
He was coming from the forest side when he saw a dark figure lurking around the house. He thought that maybe it was Samuel but he was shorter in height.
What the figure did next caused him to lose his mind.
The figure sprayed oil all around the house and went as far as possible and threw a lighter on it. It immediately caught on fire.
Brian ran towards the house as fast as he could. He didn't scream so the figure wouldn't run away, but unfortunately he was unlucky.
The figure saw him running towards him and immediately dashed towards the opposite side of the forest.
Brian ran behind him.
" STOP!! " Brian called out.
The figure looked like he knew his way through the woods.
" YOU WILL BE CAUGHT ANYWAY. "
The figure stumbled due to a branch and fell down. Before Brian could reach him, he fired a bullet which caused Brian to step back.
It gave the figure enough time to get in the vehicle on the road and run away. Brian tried to see the number plate but due to darkness he wasn't able to do so.
He kicked his foot on the ground and turned to see the state of the house. While walking back, he saw a shiny object on the ground.
He picked it up and saw a necklace with a symbol on it. It was at the place where the figure had fell down. Keeping it in his pocket, he made his way towards the house.

Reaching the canal house, both brother and sister got out of the car.
Maria was ahead of others. She saw her father's car in front of the house and completely lost her mind.
" Dad is in the house, MARK. " She screamed loudly when the flames caused some part of the house to fall down.
They tried to stop the fire but to no avail. Suddenly the door of the house fell down with a loud sound.
Maria saw Samuel carrying her father on her back.
" Samuel. " Maria wjispered with a choked sound and ran towards him but Mark held her back and instead came forward.
Samuel turned around to pass Jay over to his son. As soon as the weight lifted off, he stumbled a little and was about to go out when the wood board above him came crashing down.
" SAMUEL!! " Maria cried out.
