"Yeah. I mean...only if you want to."
Uhh...hold up...what do you mean by managing Aearth? Like you said, it's a real world now, right?
"That is indeed what I said, yes."
So like...what, I become Aearth's god or something?
"Oh no, no, no, nothing as grandiose as that. You'll basically be like an observer and maintain your world's fate. Like preventing its destruction and all that."
So, like gods who bring heroes into other worlds and such, right?
"Well, there have been administrators who have done their management via delegation of work, if that's what you mean."
Ah...yeah, that's probably what I mean, I think. I don't really know, actually.
"Well, it seems like it's going to be a long story, so why don't we have a seat first?"
*Adam snaps his fingers, and almost immediately, a low table with tea cups and seat pillows jumps into existence in front of me.*
Wow. Uhh, okay.
*Adam then spends a good amount of time explaining what being an administrator entails.*
Okay, based on everything you told me, to summarise, I'm going to be an observer who has the ability to affect my world with so-called "administrative" powers directly, and my main and only job is to make sure that my world does not end up destroyed, else my soul will die along with it...did I get it right?
"Could be more detailed, but you did get the bases down."
*Adam pauses for a short moment.*
"So. Do you want to be Aearth's Administrator? It is your life's work, after all."
...I would love to, actually. This sounds absolutely fascinating, and I can't wait to see Aearth in its current state.
"That's excellent news. But I must also inform you about Aearth's current state of affairs. Wouldn't want you to make this decision rashly, too."
Oh. Wait what? What's wrong with Aearth? What happened?
"Well, you see...when a world comes into existence, it usually has several essential events that will make and shape the world. It's quite complicated, so I won't bore you with the details. However, for worlds like Aearth, which are born out of human imagination, the original creator usually needs to maintain and solidify its existence. And as you know, you died months after bringing it into actual existence."
Oh, whoa, okay, so you're saying I literally created Aearth when I released my game into the game market? How does that work?
"Simply put, a world is only created when a large group of human consciousness recognises that the world exists."
Ohhhh. Cool.
"Actually, it's not cool at all. It's also the reason why Aearth will die out and be destroyed in perhaps another hundred years' time."
What?! How? Why?
"Well, I was getting to that part. Remember when I said that worlds like Aearth require the original creator? So the thing is, since you're dead, the maintenance and solidification of Aearth was automatically delegated to the large group of human consciousness. And well...let's just say it's not turning out well."
Oh. Oh no. Do you mean Aearth's fate is, like, being changed by the people who played my game or something? Like having fan stories and such?
"If 'fan stories' mean having their own imaginations and form of Aearth, then yes. Essentially, the large group of human consciousness has steered and controlled Aearth's fate for, well, specifically...around two to three hundred years. Converted to Aearth's years, it would be...hmm...around two to three thousand years?"
Oh nooooooooo.
