Damon slowly followed behind as Alexia and Ryan led the way. It was easier walking away. The fear was no longer there. It was as if it had been completely removed. Like it never even existed in the first place.
It could probably be because they had passed it the first time so the fear no longer had effect on them.
They soon reached the car. As always, Ryan got in behind the wheel. Damon absent-mindedly took the seat behind Ryan. This way, he was directly sitting beside Alexia.
The drive back was totally quiet. No one spoke. Every one of them was lost in their own thinking bubble.
