"Let's go find what they're hiding."
Damon stared at Alexia in surprise. Alexia had just approved of going into the woods to find what was kept hidden.
"I really don't think we should be doing that, Ryan," Damon contradicted Alexia's approval.
"It's the fear they are trying to instill in you that is talking, not you," Ryan answered him.
Damon corked his brow at Ryan. "You said it yourself. Something is hidden here. It's obvious somebody doesn't want us to find it. Let's just leave and pretend nothing like this ever happened," Damon insisted.
"What if the somebody in question is our enemy? Wouldn't it be right for us to find out what our enemy is hiding? It would help us in our battle with them and put an end to them completely," Ryan said.
He cringed again and let out a sigh. His sweating had increased. He was only getting worse.
