The guests who had been present for Richard's final rites finally started to depart. The ritual was over. Damon kept walking most of them out and Alexia could hear him thanking them for coming. She also noticed that he wasn't letting them go home empty handed. He made sure they each took a package with them as they left.
Alexia smiled as she watched both him and Ryan work. Of course, Damon couldntbwoek alone. Ryan was helping him attend to the departing guests.
Alexia focused on Damon as he worked. She noticed that even this small job, he took very seriously. She noticed the way he his thick dark brows knitted together each time he bent over to pick up a package so he could hand it over to a leaving guest. She noticed the way the corner of his red lips twitched up each time he gave the package away and the guests accepted it with appreciation.
