CHARLIE'S POV
We arrived at a steakhouse restaurant that we've never been to before. Hopefully they will have salad. We were seated at a table and a waitress asked us we would like to drink. Mom and Dad both ordered a diet Root Beer, Dallas and Maddie ordered a pink lemonade, Demi ordered a regular Root Beer, and I ordered water. I looked over at Demi and saw her laughing with Maddie and Dallas. I was a tad bit jealous, wishing I was laughing along with them, but I'm not ready to forgive Demi that easy.
"What would you guys like to eat?" The waitress asked everyone. They all either ordered a burger or a steak with a side of fries. "And what would you like to eat?" The waitress looked at me and spoke in a sweet voice.
"Uh.." I looked through the menu. I started sweating when I couldn't find salad on the menu. What place doesn't have salads?
"She'll have a medium rare steak with a side of fries." Demi spoke up. I mentally rolled my eyes at Demi. I can't eat all that. I'll just have to purge when everyone else eats. It didn't take too long for the food to arrive. I looked at all the calories that were on my plate.
'Don't eat it. You'll get too fat and people will hate you even more.'
'I'm going to purge it after, don't worry.'
'Good girl.'
I ate a little less than half of my dinner and set my fork down.
"I'm full." I spoke up and pushed my plate away. "I'm going to use the bathroom." I excused myself and headed towards the bathroom.
- TRIGGER WARNING -
I made sure no one was in the bathroom before I purged up what I ate. I dropped down on my knees and shoved two fingers down my throat. I purged until only blood was left. I got up and walked out of the stall. I looked at myself in the mirror and it looked like I have been crying.
- TRIGGER WARNING OVER -
"Charlie, are you okay in here?" Demi asked as she entered the bathroom. I looked over at her and she looked worried. "What's wrong, baby girl?" She asked quickly.
"I'm just not feeling good." I answered her. "I'm fine." I walked out of the bathroom and back to our table.
"Charlie, are you sure you're fine-" Demi asked again as she also sat back down.
"I said I'm fine! Stop trying to get into my business! Stop acting like you care about me when you don't!" I yelled, causing a scene. Demi had a hurt expression on her face.
"Charlotte Jade De La Garza!" Mom said sternly, trying not to yell. I got up and went to head outside.
"Where are you going, Charlotte?" Dad asked.
"I'm walking home." I told them and exited the restaurant. I looked up the address to our house, and it looked like I would have to go through town to get home. "Just great." I mumbled to myself. I was halfway through town when an unfamiliar voice spoke behind me.
- TRIGGER WARNING -
"What is a pretty girl like you doing out here alone?" He slurred. He's definitely drunk.
"Uh.. walking home." I answered.
"Come with me, little girl." He commanded as he grabbed my wrist. I tried to get him to let go, but he had a strong grip. He brought me into an alley way and pushed me on the ground. I tried getting up, but he shoved me down harder. I whimpered slightly. "Pull down your pants, doll." He breathed in my face.
"W-What?" I questioned.
"I said pull down your pants. Do you not speak English?" He slapped me across the face and forcefully pulled down my pants. He proceeded to pull down his pants. "I hope you're ready, doll." His tone was sexual. He got close to me and he thrusted his dick in and out.
"N-No! S-Stop!" I cried out as I realized what he was doing. This stranger was taking away my innocence. I tried pushing him away, but he was ten times stronger than I was. I gave up and just let him continue. He will stop eventually.
"That was fun, doll." He smirked and got up after thirty minutes. "I hope to see you again soon. Don't tell anyone!" He told me before pulling up his pants and leaving me in the alley way.
- TRIGGER WARNING OVER -
I shakily got up, tears blurring my vision as I pulled up my pants. I need someone to come and pick me up. I shakily pulled out my phone with tears still blurring my vision, and pressed a random contact.
"Oh my god! Charlie! Are you okay?! Where are you?!" I heard Demi panic through the phone. I wanted to hang up, but I needed someone.
"D-Demi, can you come pick me up? P-Please." I cried into the phone.
"Of course, baby girl. Where are you?" She asked quickly.
"I-I'm outside the store where Mom used to take us when we were y-younger." My voice was shaky.
"I think I know what store you're talking about. I'll be there as fast I can, okay?" She told me before hanging up. I slid down the wall of the building and sat on the ground. Less than fifteen minutes later, Demi's car pulled up in front of me.
"D-Demi.." I choked out as she rushed over to me.
"Shh, it's okay." She spoke gently and kneeled down in front of me. "What's this? It looks like a handprint, Charlie." Demi whispered as she examined at my face.
"I-It's nothing big. I want to go home, Dem Dem." I cried out as I ended up clinging onto her. She pulled me into her embrace and picked me up. I smelled her vanilla scent up close, which I haven't smelled up close for a while. She put me in the front seat of her car and I curled up, holding my knees to my chest. She sighed and buckled me in, since I wasn't going to do it myself.
"What exactly happened, Char?" Demi asked worriedly as we started driving home.
"I-I don't want to talk about it, Dems." I replied. "I'm tired.." I mumbled as we pulled into the driveway.
"Let's get you into bed then, yeah?" She opened my car door for me. I got out on shaky legs, balancing myself before I moved forward.
"Y-Yeah." I stuttered. I took a step and it hurt, but I think I hid the pain pretty well considering that Demi didn't ask if I was okay or not.
"Charlotte Jade De La Garza, what did you think you were doing?! We were worried sick!" Dad shouted. I flinched and I ended up clinging onto Demi again.
"Not now, Dad." Demi told him. She proceeded to lead me into my room.
"You don't have to do this, Dems.." I told her in a low voice.
"I know, but you're my baby sister." She gave me a reassuring smile.
"I'm going to take a shower." I told Demi as I pulled out some pajamas. I can't get the feeling of that man off of me. Why did I have to lose my innocence that way?
"If you need me, I'll be in my room. Okay?" She replied. I nodded and went into the bathroom.
- TRIGGER WARNING -
I grabbed my blade and turned the shower on, making sure it was as hot as possible before getting in. I dragged the blade across my wrist, watching the red fluid go down the train. Five fresh cuts later, I rinsed my wrist in the shower and then scrubbed my body with soap. Once I felt like I was clean enough, I got out of the shower and hid my blade away under my sink.
- TRIGGER WARNING OVER -
I put on a black AC/DC hoodie, a gray tank top, and black pajama shorts. I sat on my bed and all of today's events played through my head. I don't know why I was such a bitch to Demi. She came and picked me up when she could've easily said no. I knew one thing though is that I didn't want to sleep alone. I grabbed my favorite blanket and wrapped it around me as I headed towards Demi's room. You heard right, Demi's room. It couldn't be so bad, right?
"Dems?" I slowly opened up her door and she immediately looked up at me. "Can I sleep with you tonight?" I asked quietly, feeling embarrassed.
"Of course!" She smiled and made room on her bed for me. "You can sleep with me anytime, baby girl."
"Thank you." I smiled as I gratefully got into her bed. "Your bed is so much more comfortable! It's not fair!" I laughed a bit.
"It's so fair, especially if you payed for it yourself." Her famous laugh escaped her lips.
"Want to buy me a new bed?" I joked and she laughed. Both of us were then silent for a bit. "Hey, Dems?" I interrupted the peaceful silence.
"Hmm?" She looked at me.
"I'm sorry if I was ever a bitch to you." I apologized to her.
"If?" She looked at me and laughed.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry I WAS a bitch."
"It's fine, you had your reasons." She reassured me. "Try and get some sleep, baby girl." She told me. I nodded and cuddled into her side as she held me in her embrace where I ended up falling asleep.
