After the night that I told Jade how I felt when I was with Dylan, she started to text me whenever she sees Dylan in their building or in the convenience store.
Jade: Saw your guy in the elevator, he was staring at me. I think he's confused if I'm you.
Maisie: For the record, he's not my guy. I am not interested in the things he does so stop texting me about him.
Jade: Whatever helps you sleep at night, sis.
After her last message, I turned off my phone and walked to the hallway of my school. I was busy finding my room when my phone vibrated, I thought it's Jade again, but I stopped when I saw the name of the person who messaged me.
"Dylan Johnson sent you a message" I immediately opened it and looked at his message.
Dylan: Look to your left.
After I read it, I immediately looked to my left and saw him there staring at me, he immediately smiled and put his phone in his pocket and walked towards me. "You still haven't accepted my friend request" and then he frowned. Lord, how can you make such a cute person? I remained calm "Later, I'll accept it" then I started to walk again. "Accept it now or I won't tell you where our room is," he said while following me. I stopped and fished out my phone from my bag and accepted his friend request "There. Happy?" I looked at him and he's smiling like a kid, he nodded and we both walked to our classroom while he is ranting about how he's so much scared that I would not accept it. Since it's our first day to have classes, I sat down at the corner of the middle row and took out my book on Neuroscience, this subject is like a living hell for all the people. I quietly read and waited for my prof to come when someone poked me, I swear I almost punched him because of shock when I saw it's Dylan who's sitting next to me. He laughed at my reaction "Our prof is absent, so we can just go home or go to the library. Basically, it's free time." he said. I sighed and shook my head. I should've stayed home if my prof is not going to attend our class. I arranged my things and looked at Dylan who was waiting for me to finish. I raised my eyebrow "You want to go to the mall?" I asked and he was shocked by my invitation, but he also nodded, I just invited him because I have no one to go with and I just want to unwind and eat lunch with him because I'm sick of eating alone.
I stand up and walked to the parking lot, but I saw Dylan walk behind my back. "Dylan, you look like a stalker behind my back, walk beside me because you seem like a creepy guy back there," I said, and he laughed and walked beside me. "So, Is this a date? Are you hitting on me?" I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Assuming." I shortly said and then walked faster, I forgot that he has a long set of legs, so he easily catches up to me. When we got to the parking lot, we were both confused because he brought his car, and I did also. "Hey, we can just use your car and I'll tell my sister to bring my car to your building and then we can go there from the mall" I suggested, and he seemed to be having second thoughts "Are you sure? You're comfortable riding my car? I-I mean it's not dirty, my car is very clean. Like absolutely clean and I'm just asking you because I don't want you to be uncomfortable with this." I smiled and patted his back and went to the passenger seat of his car to assure him that I am not uncomfortable, besides... I know martial art. I can easily choke him if he does something bad to me. When I got into his car, I immediately texted Jade.
Maisie: Hey sis, I'm going to the mall and I assume that you didn't bring your car with you because this is your car wash day so can you please take my car to your building? I'm going to go there later.
Jade: Who are you with and why don't you bring your car to the mall?
Maisie: I'm going with Dylan, I invited him out of the blue to come to the mall with me.
Jade: A date? I didn't know you're the 'make the first move' type of girl.
Maisie: Shut up, it's not a date. It's just me! Being friendly! Can't I be friendly?
Jade: You? Friendly? No sis. You're not the 'mall-type' you're more of the 'mall date' friendly.
Maisie: Shut up. I'm going to see you later.
I sighed and rolled my eyes. I looked at Dylan and dear God! How can you make a man so handsome even though he's just driving?! He's hot! He pursed his lips which made his dimples show. Why does this hot guy have dimples? It's a sin! He looked at me for a minute and raised his eyebrows, "You know, it's bad when you stare at someone." he casually said, and I just rolled my eyes. This guy's just full of himself, he's not even that handsome... Oh, wait. Scratch that... he's handsome. He's very handsome and hot. Every stoplight he passed through he'll look at me like he's waiting for me to change my mind and tell him to turn it back and I'll just go home. "Stop looking at me. I will not tell you to turn back your car because we are going to the mall and we are going to eat lunch okay?" I snapped and looked at him, he seems shocked and flustered then he smiled at me and showed his dimple. Again. "Understood ma'am!" then he drives to the mall much faster.
